A disaster from start to finish.
I asked for cover for my beach business in late June early July, and received an email to say I was covered but no policies were sent at first which can be fairly normal to have delay.
Several weeks later I received the policy documents to find the name was wrong as what I did for a business, they said I did Bike hire which I used to do but I clearly stated on my emails that I no longer did that.
After many weeks again I was told that they could not change the policy name or activities, and that they had realised my cover was for an inshore watersports activity, not for marine (beach) hire.
In an attempt to be helpful the broker then searched for me for suitable cover (having had no cover all season which is extremely risky and goes against the terms of my lease) and managed to find a great deal - even though I had been forced to close as I was no longer covered.
The weather had turned hot, and it looked like I could get cover finally and I could reopen albeit for a few days. However the broker suddenly started to avoid me, so I paid for the cover with a different broker at the firm.
Finally, 8 days after the new quote coming through to me, I have been phoned to be told they cannot cover me with the new policy because I hadn't paid for the last one which was in the wrong name, had the business activities incorrectly listed and was not marine cover but inshore cover.
I am now being gaslit being told they have sent me the right policies and documents, and done everything to make sure I am covered, even though I clearly have emails to say this is untrue.
If you are dealing with them, make sure everything is done in writing and check and double check your cover, but the best bet is to totally avoid them if you can.
I have no idea now as I am writing this whether I will get my money back .

Not good. So far at least. Been trying to get through to company by phone and email to discuss potential new policy No reply. Phone has no queuing facility and no voicemail option. Simply cuts off with abrupt message saying to try later. I have done - still no reply. Strikes me this is the IT equivalent of sticking a 'Gone Fishing' notice in the shop window.

Can't get through on phone, says can't connect and to ring back! No reply from email either and I have an urgent query. Just sent anothe message via their contact me box, so we'll see. I have been with their sister company for year with excellent service but Harrison Beaumont have taken over our policies - frustration and disappointment come to mind at the moment

Terrible company. My insurance ran out and I never received a renewal documents but noticed my direct debit stopped.
Rung and rung promised calls back and never got. Leaving me to go on holiday hours later uninsured. Avoid avoid avoid this company

Not impressed at all. Web site has wrong tel nr. I did tel to hear a message that its changed. Phoned new nr and goes straight to voice mail for more than 5 mins waiting for an agent to become available. Game over for me.... too busy for taking new customer enquiry!
