Everytime I go there, I spent at LEAST 40minutes in the queue for the staff at the desk to leave the counter when it's my turn and start helping people who have just walked in with the self-service machines. I have given them this feedback many times, but it is just completely ignored. They say they are short staffed, as others stand around talking to each other and have long conversations with customers that they know personally.

I've visited here about four times. Each time I go, I see a huge queue but only one or two staff members to handle the crowd. They need to increase the staff.

The Worst Post Office in History

This post office is truly the worst I've ever encountered. The staff is consistently rude and seems indifferent to customer service. On every visit, I’m greeted by long lines and a short-staffed environment where employees prioritize chatting over helping customers.

When I finally reach the counter, the dismissive attitudes are disheartening, leaving me feeling unwelcome. I’ve never left this place feeling hopeful about improvements; it’s a cycle of frustration and inefficiency. If you value your time, avoid this post office at all costs!

I don't even won't to give them one star because they don't even know how to treat customer there was a long queue behind him and he was chilling just doing his cash declaration after I told him that he have to serve the customer first he just saying me that it's saturday today they have no staff to attend customer....... I'm also a employee of wh Smith but I'm not happy with their services.... Zero stars for staff

Awful service, slow and inefficient. The staff spend more time talking to each other than helping customers resulting in really long queues which could be easily improved but they have no desire to do so.

I just had a terrible experience at this local branch. The queues are always long with only 1 counter open, and self service. The staff are rude and use fowl language when you ask them to open up more counters. So today, I asked the staff member to open another counter and she said no, this is normal not busy there are only 10 people waiting in the queue, she said busy is when the queue goes outside onto the high Street, which is ridiculous. She said we can't change anything we always have one manned counter, it's not busy go abs use the self counter, which I couldnt as i needed to deposit money into my account. She said customers need to use the self service more, I then replied well they are not they all queuing up why don't you check if they can use the self service, instead of asking the customers she said customers need to go and check fir themselves if they can use self service or not. I said you should check and if they can't please open another counter. She ignored me and said this is how it is and walked back into the back office. There are 3 other counters in this branch that are never used, why have 3 other counters built when they never use them?
One staff said these long queues are normal and they can't do anything, she said customers come and" bark like a dog "and then go away, but nothing will change its just how it is and they need accept this. I told her not to use fowl language, she said I'm not saying "you are barking like a dog" but other rude customers bark like a dog. I said that is still fowl language and please stop saying that, you can't deny that the queues and service here needs improvement. I wish I recorded her using this fowl language, well I'm going to complain to the head office after this terrible experience.

Arrived at 17:18 to have a Mail Redirect form checked, told I had to be there before 17:00 to have this done. Don't know where it says that, just couldn't be bothered, probable wanted to get out early. The amount of times i've been to this Post Office and seen terrible service, now i've experienced it as well.

Liars, rude , always has closed counters leaving a huge queue waiting. For starters, they lied about their closing time saying 5:30 online and so when we got there at 4:30 we waited there for a while until they told us all off because apparently they had closed earlier and their was a small sheet on the wall which said they closed at 4 instead of their usual 5:30 which wasted lots of peoples time, and their tone while informing us was rude and arrogant. Secondly, they always have closed counters leaving only 1 counter open at the front so whenever we go there, theres always a huge queue waiting.
Overall, a horrible post office with arrogant and rude staff, DO NOT GO!
