Communication is key when working with the public, especially in a diverse world and helping people with additional needs.

When working for a management company, your covering welfare and people’s livelihoods. So, it’s important to build good relationships and a clear understanding of each individuals objectives. It is not so much about the subject matter, its more about the detail of how to successfully complete a task.

So, this is why hands down I can fully recommend this management company.

We engaged HES nearly two years ago as our Managing Agents for our 10 x apartment bock. HES have been, and continue to be, a joy to work with. Last Friday at 4pm we noticed the lift doors were not operating properly. I phoned HES and got Gavin Derriman, one of the directors. He managed to contact our lift contractors and the problem was sorted out that evening, resulting in no downtime of the lift. Our dedicated property manager is also a dream to work with. Would whole-heartedly recommend HES!

I have been working with HES for 8 months or so, being involved with them taking over management of a block where I have a property and another block where they were managing a major roofing project on 35 garages.
At all times I have found them to be

This property agency took over from a previous agency whom managed the complex with little issues and oversight, but since HES got involved they have ran the place to the ground, not addressing serious complaints and later taking action when things get beyond repair, treat residents with complete contempt and ignore their legal obligations. It’s like dealing with the management from hell as our lives are hell now they are on scene. I’m in total disbelief how they handle and address the problems here. It’s all on their terms and their unique behaviour is gaslighting residents, the parking scheme here has fined many residents bullied and intimidated them to pay fines for using their own spaces, I’m in process of legal action I can count on them to ignore even court orders as to affect their god status. Imagine having no lift for almost 3 months and for some unable to leave the property imagine the impact and the urgency is not even actioned timely, treating people like second class citizens to live at an expensive property in central town and accept. The buildings have developed some serious mould issues which are dangerous and have been ignored now for three years, but to be completely condescending and tell residents it’s your fault for improper ventilation. A book for dummies is what they issue because despite professionals identifying the problem and it being highlighted HES only hear their own voice, they are the experts, like telling a doctor they are wrong about their diagnosis without attending medical school, I had a builder and surveyor identify the issues but this has gone on deaf ears as they are deaf to the truth and only listen to their own paid surveyor. I really can’t say more then my experience with HES is like dealing with toddlers when pushed.

Weybridge House is a community of 17 apartments and 4 townhouses and due to not being satisfied with our previous Estate Management Company we decided to move to HES Estate Management. The initial attraction for us for HES was that Vicki Howe was employed there and we had had an excellent service and relationship with her at a previous Estate Management Company. Since we actually moved the initial attraction has turned into confirmed excellent service from Vicki together with a culture of service within HES. We can certainly recommend this Estate Management Company.

Our experience of HES very poor. Staff unprofessional. Do not appear to be up to speed re basic block management skills. Work ethic poor. Unable to carry out simple tasks. Staff project superior attitude - ultimately have no idea how to accomplish tasks. We found some staff members releasing confidential security information into public domain. Overall : Stay well away. Highly unprofessional. Hugely disappointing. 07 February 2025

Awaiting Leaseholder Disclosure Document as this has not been provided and is now a requirement for firms/freeholders to do so as of 31st Dec 2023. This document should highlight the way the particular policy is chosen and how fees and commission are earned and shared. Upon receipt of this can we consider if HES are acting in the best interests of the leaseholder. I also welcome a reason as to why I have not received this information as the policy has been in place for more than 30 days.
