We had our first breakdown experience this week. We were on a planned holiday towing our caravan on the M62. The engine on the car failed. Highway recovery were called and made our experience as pain free as possible. Dave the driver was excellent. He was professional understanding and made the journey back home to Stockport as smoothly as it could be. Chatted to us along the way. The whole recovery went smoothly from start to finish. Well done to Highway recovery and the AA who were also involved.

Top lads. Unfortunately I had to use them last Saturday. Mikey turned up first, ahead of the expected time, but was unfortunately unable to help us due to no fault of his own. (I told the call handler, through my insurance cover, I needed a recovery truck for lowered vehicles which wasn’t passed on) He then waited with us to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible with his colleague Dave who had the low loader. They got the car loaded with great care and Dave took us home. Both extremely helpful and I couldn’t fault them. Thanks again lads.

I was out working and the truck I was in had a breakdown, it wasn’t anything major.

Highway recovery ltd was called to repair the vehicle. The person who arrived was a childish, pathetic, creep. His face is drawn, almost like he has a condition.

He attempted to mock me with the other drivers talking about me and laughing, it was really unprofessional.

Then he stood on the wrong side of the tractor unit when it’s clearly marked instructing him not to do so. I wonder if he damaged anything? Don’t think he would be laughing then. I, definitely, wouldn’t recommend this company

My wife and I found ourselves in some car trouble, just outside of Kippax (Leeds).
The company had one of their guys out to us in 20mins (estimated was an hour so that was nice!).
We were greeted by Ian, who quickly diagnosed the problem.
However, this roadside repair was going to require a car part. Not a quick service and on our way as we'd hoped.
Ian had a plan. Rang a local car parts dealer, who had what we needed. So he nipped over there with me in tow to grab it and returned back to fit it. The car was running again, marvellous!
All the while this was going on Ian was an absolute gent, professional and good humoured.
Credit to his company and all round very nice human being.
Would highly recommend (their services I mean, not having a car break down!).

Broke down outside South Elmsall which was rather unfortunate... however Mikey from Highway Recovery arrived quickly to help out! Excellent service, polite, friendly, and an all round great guy who provided a fantastic service and gave sound advice to get my car back on the road as quickly as possible. Truly above and beyond!

Gentlemen called Callum helped me after my driveshaft fell out 3 hours from home, and out of the kindness of his own heart used a personal bottle of gearbox oil to get me back on the road. 10/10 stars. Thank you 🤲🙏
