Visited my elderly parents and found a renewal quote for their buildings/contents insurance. They have been with Hiscox for many years as older people tend to do, thinking they get loyalty benefits. Couldn't believe my eyes - £1222! Luckily stopped the renewal and switched to a much larger well-known company who provided the same cover and with less excess to pay - for £375! Outrageous way for a company to take advantage of vulnerable people.
