So I have emailed them about a safety problem and not received an answer. As there are 7 flats with young children in them, this is quite a safety problem with them coming and going through the school Hollidays. Pretty standard stuff for this company! Absolutely awful firm, phone calls ignored, emails just ignored, fire regulations just pushed aside and the person responsible for your particular estate or building to change every 3 months. It's only taken a month to respond to this review....which pretty much proves my point!

HML managed £3,186 worth of Persimmons money to fix our hedgerow. You can see from the images how poor a job they did. After two formal complaints they still are saying this is complete. Bear in mind it took 5 years to get these funds and this is how they spend the money. A fraudulent misuse of funds is at play here as this is clearly not £3,186 worth of work. A formal investigation through an ombudsman is in play. Someone is pocketing money!

Dreadful service. Charge a fortune. No response to emails, I phone and email and the world is promised but never delivered… disrespectful in the extreme. Absolute scoundrels.

HML Group has to be by far the worst company I have dealt with, own a flat which has had numerous issues with many leaks affecting myself and many others, they never seem to want to do anything about it, telling us to fix it and they will sort out the payment at the end. It is absolutely abysmal how they are allowed to run, it is frustratingly impossible to get ahold of someone to answer our calls or emails to the extent where the agency I use has told me they have given up with them completely.

I’m having to fork out a fortune because of this group, I’m honestly not surprised at the ratings and reviews they’ve received.

I’ve been left with no choice but to sell my property as they are quick to charge and when they do my word is it extortionate. If they did what a managment group was meant to do, I’d maybe say fine it’s worth it, but these guys are useless. This is broad daylight robbery.

Please please please stay away from these people as they are clearly incompetent and do not care.

A management company that is happy to take your money and threaten you if you do not pay on time, but their workers are like Columbo's wife. No one has ever seen them. The below photos were taken in Ewans Way, Berewood Green (Waterlooville). This is how they maintain our 'green' areas. A well-deserved one star.

Truly horrendous business ethics and service quality - and I have rented 5+ properties in as many years. HML is right up there with the worst! Left these repairs on our roof for 3 months incompleted and replied to one email and did not respond to multiple phone calls at all. Incredible really

The company is truly awful, so pleased to be rid of the, after 2 years. It took 18 months for a leaking roof to be repaired. The staff have no motivation to fix problems, they’re part of a bigger group, everything is someone else’s problem. Contracts are given to there in-house team of brokers, surveyors which doesn’t ensure best price. The company recommends using building insurance for maintenance issue which is reported here by other reviews. You try to launch a complaint, the manager says she’ll follow up but then never replies to an email again! Trying to reach them by phone is almost impossible, you end up at a voicemail which is never replied to. Truly terrible.

I had 2 properties under their so called 'management'. They are atrocious to deal with , waste lots of our money and let our properties become run down. They take lots of commission wherever they can. Rude and slow to act. If you value your property do NOT employ them and ignore their slick presentation and empty promises . If you have them already get the right to manage ASAP ! You have been warned !

***Update Nov 2021*** I have dismissed them from both sites one by way of right to manage for the block and the other end of contract ! We are finally free !

***Update May 2024*** I have now dismissed them from the whole site by exercising a covenant in the lease , they have lost a whole 239 unit site - Ouch ! I told them I would take it if they didn't pull their socks up ! Lol Good Riddance HML !

Please be sure to review them on Trustpilot too, they are doing everything they can to increase their ratings on there (using contractors and employees to rate them 5* mostly) Let's show the world what they are really like! If they drop to 2.7 they are rated poor ! 😉
