Mike turned up on time, was very polite and had everything ready. A very knowledgable sweep with lots of handy advice and didn’t make any mess, which was appreciated. Our wood burner is back to being like new (see photo). He is a credit to Howats to the extent that we’ve booked for 2025. Thanks Mike and thanks Howats.

First time (early 2025) using Howats and very impressed. I was able to make an appointment for the next week when I called and was also able to make them aware of a small repair required on the stove, which was reassuring. Mike, the sweep, arrived in good time and was very polite, personable and helpful.

Stove cleaned and repair completed in no-time and for a very competitive price. Already booked for next year! Thank you Howats, it's rare to get service like this nowadays.

We had an issue with our log burner during a very cold snap. I contacted Howats and they were able to help at very short notice. Mike came out the next day to sweep and clean it. He was so polite, kind and knowledgable, and thoroughly checked our stove was working correctly. Thank you so much, we really appreciated it, and it was great to book our next sweeps in for the year too. I thoroughly recommend Howats.
