Having recently left Howlader, I felt let down by the service I received. In my previous review I noted how:
- In three years I had three different contacts causing me to need to re-explain the nature of my business a lot and not receive personalised service
- I had to chase replies to emails very regularly
- I did not have important business mail from HMRC passed onto me when using their business address
- When leaving, I was hit with a huge bill for a years-old invoice that had not been communicated to me was owed prior and not included in the payments I was already making for my monthly service

All in all, it left me with very bad feelings. However, upon seeing my review, a member of the team has since reached out and offered their sincere apologies for the service I received and agreed it was not acceptable. I was given a small goodwill gesture of compensation and assured the above was not how they usually conduct business and that they would take all my comments on board to make improvements to their service and ensure this would not happen again. In light of this promise and the assurance that my experience was an anomaly, I am changing my review from 1 stars to 3 stars.

I believe that Howlader & Co are one of the best firms in the business. When I first started on my business journey, so many things were new to me. So much of it appeared complicated, but one thing I knew from the outset is that we should make sure we get really good accountants.

A friend recommended them to me, and told me they were excellent. And having been with them for a couple of years now. I know they are excellent.
Everything involving taxes can be so daunting, even for experienced business people, but Howlader & Co not only deal with the most complex aspects of tax law so well. But they have this Amazing ability to break everything down to you so that you understand what is happening at all times.

No request or problem is too big or too small for them, they are always willing to help. And they will go above and beyond for their clients. As they have done for me on so many occasions.

I cannot recommend Subrata and the whole team at this incredible company enough. True professionals and experts at what they do.
