Went down today to ask a few questions about loans and opening a savings, and checking my credit score. felt like I got completely disregarded I explained I couldn't open a savings online because I was having issues and basically got ignored by one of the employees. He did offered me other suggestions about the loans and checking credit score which was helpful. I don't normally have bad experiences here but today felt like I was straight up disregarded in everyway and rushed out of the building. Been a customer for many many years now. It just felt a bit unprofessional as I felt rushed out of the building...

Awful, I've been a customer for 25+ years and a business customer for 15+ years.

The one time in many years I requested minor assistance, a signature to confirm I was the person shown on my passport for money related purposes.

They refused. They were doing absolutely no work, just chatting. Pleasant enough people but they spent literally 15 minutes refusing, speaking to the manager, the manager refusing, the manager calling head office then refusing again. I was told that it's against policy.

All the bad press I hear regarding banks, I saw nothing here to contradict this. I saw a bunch of people literally doing nothing more than they would in Costa, chatting about their day to day lives, laughing and smiling. A bunch of flowers had just been delivered and this was a big talking point.

Don't get me wrong, I was happy that they were happy. That said, who wouldn't be whilst being paid for a 'working' day like this.

Is it any wonder online banking has now become the norm and the irony is the people being replaced are the very people facilitating their own demise. I can only assume they are looking forward to receiving their redundancy pay.

Shame on you Aldridge HSBC!

I called in this morning, expecting to have to book an appointment, or have to wait. However Tracey dealt immediately, efficiently and quickly with my requests. I was impressed.

Went in today to pay money in for my husband, was asked what age he was, sorry cant take it because he is not under 18.
Never heard anything like it, r the cashiers making their own rules!!!!
According to bank legislation which changed the way people pay in you use a paying in book if you don't bank with them yourselves.
Appalling service I was not acknowledged, and a smile would have been nice,

Much as I like the people in there, I was annoyed today at their customer service, Checked opening time on the door earlier, said 9.30 am. I arrived then to have to wait in the rain until 10 am, another sign was on a pillar by the door saying 10 am. When I pointed out that the two signs were confusing, they said they couldn't take down the incorrect sign'. Couldn't they at least cover it up, to help stop the confusion?

my husband and myself have been into the branch today to open an account we are very pleased the service we received was excellent Ann was very helpful and talked us through everything giving us time to ask any questions we needed to know I have been a customer of this bank for many years and have always received first class service thank you Ann for your excellent service

Ive have been using this branch for many years and have to say the staff two in particular are extremely helpful i have never had a problem with any issues that need to be addressed well done Jo & Helen. Always there for a friendly chat and a smile
