HSBC has gone from poor to disastrous with branch closures, and outsourcing telephone enquiries to India. They have lost a cheque of mine for a large sum of money. It was posted from abroad to a branch which has since closed, although Post Office tracking says the cheque has been delivered. According to the only people answering the Helpline, nobody is able to telephone any local branch anymore, including them.

i have mental health problems and not a rich person, i went in to get my last 60p out of my account and the lady behind the counter laughed and sniggered at me. it made me feel suicidle depressed etc my mental health problems came worse. every customer should be dealt the same even if poor and taking out small amount of money. i got no sort of compensation etc when i closed the account of this. also the lady was dressed unapropiate with top buttons undone showing cleavridge. nevr bank with hsbc, rude and disrepecful people.
