My wife and I visited HSBC Guisborough as it is our local branch. The staff were absolutely brilliant in helping us resolve our non HSBC issues and have offered ongoing support should we need it. Its clear to me that the Staff were very professional and in a friendly way. I cannot speak highly enough of the valuable asset this Branch is to the Guisborough community.

10/10 experience. I went in concerning logging into my mobile banking app and also opening a global money account. I was served by Juliet who was incredibly helpful. The mobile banking app and global money account was set up and fully sorted within 15 minutes. She then went on to answer all my questions and sort third party on my account which was extremely helpful.

Excellent customer service in our local branch of HSBC.
It was very refreshing to be able to walk into our local HSBC branch on Wesgate to open a new account without appointment. After only a brief wait we were guided through the process of opening a new joint account. Exteremly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The new account was available when we left. Like most people I do most of my banking online and via apps these days, but such a great experience to do this face to face.

I've just been into the Guisborough branch to discuss some queries I had. I couldn't fault the service from the female member of staff who was professional, friendly, and helpful. I was concerned I may not be able to access the service I needed - and would have to travel to another branch - having read a negative review on Google however, it seems the review was inaccurate. I'm really pleased to still be able to access a local branch on the high street when I need it.

Shocking customer service. Tried calling to book an appointment and the robot that responds just refers you to the website, when I looked at the website it asks to call to book an appointment! This meant I had to select the 'speak to an agent' option at wait 30mins to get through to someone, only to be told my local branch no longer offers the in-branch electronic transfer service for large money transfers! This means I had to go to a branch 40mins away which was a walk-in service as they don't offer appointments. DO NOT bank with HSBC if you value good service, I am now looking at changing my banking provider.

This isn't really a fault of the branch but how are you supposed to deposit a cheque that is larger than mobile banking will allow any time outside the 4 hour opening window. I remember this branch being open 9 to 5, 6 days per week and outside of these hours you could swipe your card to enter to access paying in machines.
