With so many bank branches closing down, I had to drive for 45 minutes to arrive at this branch, only to find out that I couldn't make a cash withdrawal from my First Direct account, or get exchange foreign currency. Not quite clear what the branch does? The assistants seemed unclear themselves. Useless.

They have removed the counter!! 2x cash paying in machines both useless took me over 30mins to pay in a large amount of cash due to both machines jamming. Told If I need a counter I have to go to WH Smith/ Post Office :/ i kinda thought that’s why banks had branch’s :/ :/

I rarely post but entirely agree with John's review. 3 assistants, none of whom interested in paying in a cheque and point to the one working machine which has a queue. Customer service obviously not the heart of HSBC Lynn.

After visiting two other banks in the town I realised how the customer service isn't as good as it could be, this is the only reason I am writing this review. There is one or two good staff members who treat you well. It is the attitude of the few that simply drag the service down and are very unhelpful. When I've had issue with the machine there is no one about or simply wait ages to get someone's attention. I don't feel like a valued customer despite paying for the service.

Just moving to the area this is our local bank. We have visited quite a few times and each time we have received excellent service (considering all of our matters have been quite challenging).

This past time when we had visited we had spoken with the teller. We had given her quite a few task to help us complete on that visit and she succeeded quite well. In the mist of the mix some of our statements we needed printed were left on the printer.

The lovely teller Jan had over nighted those statements to us - knowing that we needed them urgently! She gave us such great customer service and even spoke to us with such politeness. It was lovely to see such a kind hearted, hard working woman.

Absolutely shocking customer service. The lady i usually see Kim was busy who is FANTASTIC but instead i got this woman who clearly couldnt be bothered muttering on approaching me "i suppose ive got 5mins" i needed help with online banking but i dont have a driving licence or passport. Surely there is another way to help as Kim has done this before as i am an HSBC customer. Paying taxi to go there just for that she was no help at all!!!!

Called into the bank as l was having trouble logging into my account,and getting nowhere with the call centre,the lady l saw (sorry didn't get her name)new exactly what l wanted and sorted it out in no time. Will not ever call their call centre again,as l found out they had given me three bits of misinformation.I was given five star treatment.

Very bad experience. I Try to get some help because my app is not working at the moment to send money abroad . And I went to the back in Kings lynn, and a young blond lady made my day, telling me to go online to do it instead of helping me. Asking me if I do know how to do it on they’re computer( my darling, if I knew how to do it By myself, was going to do it at home and not waste my short break at work to come waste my time in there. I don’t know why you were hored in there, probably to spend you day chatting with you colleagues. Well after today for sure I will change my bank provider. So in a fee words: worst customer service.
