Went to deposit cheques yesterday.... Friday...the bank is closed!! No other options available. Disgusting customer service. They could easily use a central place like WH Smith upstairs every day to supplement the banks services.
Next location is Kendal....over an hour by bus...no thank you.

Absolutely shocker of a company. Put a random block on an account and basically won't lift it until my 92 year old, bed ridden grandmother makes her way into one of the few remaining branches. More or less stolen her money that she needs to pay care home fees. Avoid, move account ls, stay away

Terrible customer service. Was told we have to go into the branch to open a joint account and change name of my wife. Waited 15 minutes at the counter to be told we are not making any appointments - come back tomorrow and try your luck.

Asked if we could at least book an appointment which was also not possible.

Why having a branch when you don't want to serve customers? And why telling customers you have to come into the branch when you refuse to serve them in such?

Non existent service from disinterested, standoffish and rude staff, when the desk is even manned and they're not just reliant on the machines to do all the work for them. I heartily recommend changing banks if you bank in Lancaster and require in-person services.
