I asked for one , just one enquiry
I asked if livetime ISA could be taken up at the age of 39?
All I was told ……
Is your son a customer ?
I said he has more than one bank accounts
I and my wife have been hsbc exclusive customers from teenagers to our age now in mid seventies
With 2 large ISA s
All car loans house mortgage
And over and over again
Is he a customer here?
I said I’m asking!

Experience varies widely depending on the day/staff that are working. When I opened my account they seemed completely dumbfounded at the fact I didn't have a passport, asking me 3 times. I provided other evidence of identity. Went in here when the HSBC app stopped working for me, they were brilliant and sorted it straight away. All I will say is if you want to deposit cash into your account there is no option to do it over a counter/give it to staff, your only option is a machine which is cumbersome, constantly beeps loudly, and can only count a note if it is completely unbent (very difficult with plastic notes, especially if they've been folded). You end up having to deposit money one note at a time, whilst the machine blares its beeping and all eyes are on you.

Spoke to a very rude lady on the desk. She wore glasses and had curly light brown/ red hair. She treated my friend with disrespect, refused to listen to her enquiries about her online banking and dismissed her to another member of staff to help. Needs to be sorted out. Why treat us like idiots when your job is to help out? Disgusting.
