Have banked here since I started university. Made an appointment to bring my current account back to HSBC. From popping in beforehand to ask Nicola whether I had arranged the appointment to having my appointment today with your advisor the experience has been excellent.
I signed up to an Advance account and he sorted not only that but all my banking needs there and then. I left feeling very happy.
Overall I would recommend HSBC Richmond Branch despite not having a cashier service. The team are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Thank you for helping me!

I recently visited the bank to open an account, and the service was exceptional! David were friendly and patiently answered all my questions, guiding me through every step of the process. Avoid. They have a new ATM outside that is useless. You can’t see the keypad at night because it has a stupid cover over it. The machine debited my account but didn’t actually dispense any cash.

A lady came up and said that she had the same thing happen to her at this machine.

When I went in the next day there was a couple who had been told their replacement card had been sent to the branch for the second time but the staff couldn’t find it.

The member of staff I spoke to was quite dismissive and just said “the machines will get better!” Wow.

last friday the 23/08/24, I initially visited HSBC to get a new card and, although I had never been to the Richmond branch before, I generally prefer to manage everything online. However, when I arrived to request my new debit card, I was assisted by Farez Virani, who significantly elevated my banking experience. After handling the card return, he swiftly reviewed my accounts and suggested several changes to enhance my savings. He recommended opening an additional savings account with a better interest rate and provided guidance on how much to deposit, taking into account my need for quick access to funds. Understanding that I travel frequently, Farez also suggested opening a global account and helped set up my card with Apple Pay. I was thoroughly impressed by his product knowledge—he answered all my questions and removed any obstacles. Farez was highly professional, patient, and genuinely eager to assist, exceeding all my expectations, by ensuring i was equipped with all the financial tools to get the most of my money. He exemplifies everything a branch should strive for and greatly improved my perception of the Richmond location. Before leaving, I made sure to get his business card, as he has completely transformed my view of the branch. I will definitely return to have him manage my accounts exclusively.
