Located in town centre with parking difficult to find nearby. Try Chapel Street.

Staff is friendly though very often unable to resolve your query quickly. Often many trips to the back to ask a colleague. As well often asking patronizing questions, “who did you speak with when you last visited? We wouldn’t have advised that..”
As if you make a note of the person’s name at the bank who promises they will handle your transaction.

If visiting during the winter, bring a warm coat and some gloves to wear while you wait in the cold lobby.

Excellent customer service. All staff were extremely attentive. Ethan helped me with the final stages of setting up a new account and online banking. Couldn’t recommend more. Helpful, friendly and quick at getting everything processed.

have had a problem with online banking, couldn't resolve it via phone nor app chat. Decided to visit the branch, staff were very friendly despite initially they couldn't identify the problem but still maintained a bright smile. Eventually, the young lad who assisted me spotted a minor yet critical discrepancy which solved my issue. I am very grateful for his service and his remarkable observation!

Yes I agree with the POSITIVE comments below. The staff all very friendly, smartly dressed and professional and the building looks and feels like a proper bank. Leena Pandey the Business manager here has been hugely helpful to my business. Hurrah for HSBC !
