Having been frustrated with trying to open accounts for my teenage children, Megan in the Truro branch has been so helpful and gone out of her way to meet my children, complete their paperwork and print it in the branch, verify their ID, sort out the accounts and help them set up their banking app. What a fantastic service. Well done Megan; we hope you go far with HSBC as I think our children will remember how you onboarded them and will probably now be customers for a long time.

Went into branch with a technical issue. Had the whole thing resolved efficiently by April who knew the exacr process and sat me down and just took me through the whole thing with no fuss. The atmosphere is friendly and infelt they couldnt do more to help. Brilliamt experiemce and gives me faith in being with HSBC. I understand things are moving online but this face to face experience is so important and just makes you feel more comfortable keeping your money with a company.

Just had to share how amazing Megan at HSBC Bodmin hub was, I had to sort some urgent banking for my elderly mom.
Megan sorted everything very promptly and even though she was off on AL she made sure that her team were aware of my urgency and kept me in the loop, through the process of sorting my moms affairs. Popped into the Truro branch today, whilst I was there I met Patricia. Finally after years of considering online banking but being unconfident about it all. I am now online, updated my accounts which now work really well for me. Patricia was patient, explained everything clearly and logically went through the stages. Excellent service.

I am quite frustrated with the bank due to the closures of several branches, which forced me to travel quite a distance to get the help I needed. It was inconvenient and time-consuming, as I had to plan my entire day around a very basic question!!! However, I want to highlight the fantastic service I received from a chap called Liam during my visit. He was incredibly helpful and bought my attention to how I could carry out my banking in the future, which will make my life much more easy and straightforward. He aided me in setting up online banking which is much more simple than anticipated! Additionally, he assisted me with some unrelated phone problems to which he showed real patience and kindness to me.
