If I could I would give 0 I had a problem and they told me in a can not be bothered face go somewhere else I did not like the colleges attitude I would say don't go here if you are going to westwood

Went to this branch today as had been told I could change phone number associated with a business card in branch. The assistant told. me I could NOT do it in branch without a signatory. This info was absolutely WRONG. I was then informed when calling the customer service number that I COULD do it in branch and in fact HAD TO go back. I do not live in the UK so I can't go again. How is it that staff DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING? Shockingly bad service.

I have been staying with my Daughter in Margate when I went to an ATM to check my balance I noticed that my account was not what it should have been, money had been taken out without my consent I went to HSBC in Westwood cross, an employee Ms Pinn put me at ease, she was very professional it was all sorted money that had been taken out was put back in my account. I can not thank the staff enough, but a big thank you to all anyway.

Walked in, no counter or staff for the simple task of paying in some money. Deposited £500 cash into one of the machines and it just swallowed it and rejected the transaction. Luckily managed to get it back in the end but this took way longer and was more stressful than it should have been.

No cashiers here! One or two staff members walking around but all 'banking' done by their machines. So for example you can't put a note/reference on a deposit as there's only a number pad, no keyboard. So it's a bit rubbish in that way. On the other hand, the machines are quick and easy to use and it's open till 6.30 on a Saturday and is open on Sunday too which is Awesome! 🙂

Westwood branch Broadstairs is a waste of time. No counter to draw out any large amounts of money, the paying in machines are worse than useless. Opening hours are pathetic. Myself and the rest of my family will be moving to a different bank.

Really annoyng that they still work on a limited working hours. Usually people are at work between 10-16.00 so no time to pop in anymore. And weekends now they are shut. Banks got really complacent over this Covid situation, I did understand before where cases were high and there was a risk but now everyhting is almost back to normal, everyone back in the office or at their workplaces, yet banks get away with beins so LAZY. Please resume your normal working hours.

With the plan to close Ramsgate branch I'm forced to use Westwood Branch which has no face to face counters. Staff there can't do certain things because of this. Also to pay both coins and notes you have to queue at 2 different machines whereas the Ramsgate branch had the facility of a Dropbox which you can pay both at the same time. But my biggest complaint is the opening times 9.30 should be at least 9 and not being open at all at weekends is atrocious. I'm a NHS worker and am basically sick of big companies using Covid19 as an excuse for not providing a decent service. Banks I would of thought are an essential service and its about time they provided a service. I have banked with HSBC since 1989 and am seriously looking at finding a different bank!
