I was served by Lorraine (02/04/2025) renewing my drivers license. She was so helpful and did all this at the counter for me online, quickly updating my photo and taking the stress away and even returning my old license 🤩. £21, job done.

Booking in with her next week with her to renew our passports.

What a valuable member of staff. Great shop and fantastic post office ! Lorraine is always super helpful. If you need assistance with anything, go see her as she’ll definitely be happy and able to help or point you in the right direction. Good to know there are people who still go that bit further for others and go their jobs with integrity and a smile 🙏. 5 star customer service deserves a 5 star review.

Had an appointment today for my son to get his passport, having taken the morning off work to come for our appointment. Rudely told that she was really busy and we'd have to wait - fair enough, there was a queue. When that died down she then told us to come back another time because the machine wasn't charged. Waste of time, terrible customer service.
Should also point out that this was our 3rd attempt to get a passport there! We won't bother trying again, or using their services in future.

I have left my number as the counter of the shop I paid with £20 for menthol tips and renne tablets, given me change for £10, I had to leave number as was in rush but because I had only got money from bank (all £20’s) I knew was wrong.
The young girl wasn’t listening to the fact it was a £20 and arguing it was £10

Post office says it is open until 8pm I have been in the shop before and posted a parcel at 5:30 with no issues. I went in today and the man on the counter said they were closed which is incredibly frustrating because I’ve posted past 5pm before. Upon asking why they were closed he was kinda rude to me and said they were always closed at that time making me feel like it was my fault

Post office shuts at 5pm weekdays….
On the Royal Mail website and the Royal Mail branded sign on your shop window you advertise being opening until 8pm. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that customers are confused and inconvenienced when you actually stop all Post office services at 5pm.
Customer service could only be described as rude

Lorraine sorted my new passport application out for me, she did everything including taking my photo. Really quick process and exactly 2 weeks later my new passport arrived - definitely worth paying the extra £5 for secure delivery for peace of mind. Lorraine is always so friendly whenever I pop in to the shop in the morning before work as well, great shop.
