Do not use this bank, they offer the trashiest service ever, I haven't seen a bank as worse as this one, specifically the london branch, I needed help with a cheque from HMRC, Investec could not receive the cheque, they probably kept throwing my cheques away because there is no way they could not locate even one of them.
I have never seen private banking with no form of accountability like investec london, no one is responsible for anything, they are just ready to do bare minimum or nothing and dismiss you,

Avoid at all costs. Appalling service. Happy to take your money and allow the sale of a faulty & dangerous car. It seems like many others have also been unfortunate enough to experience their terrible service. Avoid at all costs as the other reviews say. If you have been affected like me make sure to contact THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE who will accept your complaint about Mann Island Finance/Investec. I know another person who is having the same issues and is also going through the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE. They lie and claim reports have been carried out at garages that have NO RECORD of ever seeing the vehicle. Total joke of a company.
Update - Rightly so I won my ombudsman case through the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE (upheld on TWO occasions as Mann Island had the cheek to dispute it being upheld the first time.) Now I have won my case, I am now looking into involving the newspaper/media as Mann Island are still trying to cause me problems now withholding money. They need to remember a FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN DECISION is legally binding!!

You may need to know that Investec don't allow you to open a business savings account if you have had one in the past and closed it!!
I spoke with Joan Crowley today (Manger at Client Services ) who confirmed this and said that their system is not set up to allow it! I asked her for the CEO Ruth Leas email address she refused to give it.. I found Investec to be both unprofessional and unwelcoming... what a strange attitude to have as a Bank!
