Dinah is very approachable and doesn't mind answering any of my questions at any time. She's great for explaining any tax and vat requirements I might not understand and keeps us aware of any HMRC updates that will effect our business. ProPak Heckmondwike Limited has been with Jones Accountants since 2000 and we have now handed all our payroll over to them, we find the service excellent. Queries delt with quickly and efficiently, in a recent VAT inspection everything was found to be in order and to the complete satisfaction of the VAT office.
As far as ProPak Heckmondwike Limited is concerned we cannot praise the Jones Accounts highly enough for all there work.

SCMMER AVIOD Absolutely shocking company did my tax return but messed it up dinah r jones refused to look at there mistake and just abused me and slandered me over a year on now and it’s still not sorted avoid this horrible lady at all cost wouldn’t even look at the proof I had to confirm what I was saying was right just point blank blamed it all on me not a very nice woman to deal with I found the lady that used to work there last night and even she remembered doing my tax return and remembered that she’s changed something on it that she tsissed off yet it didn’t get sent in to hmrc AVOID this horrible lady and her company at all costs and save your time having to go though the court to get there mistakes sorted p.s she’s holding all my paperwork she has so I can’t even do my next tax return and if I don’t get it back I’m going to end up with a big fine this on top of all the abuse its absolutely shocking.
Thought I best add this as she’s basically just tryed blackmailing me for £50 for my paperwork shocking so unprofessional

We used this company for about 10 years. I recommend you don't trust their work but check everything they do. When I started checking, (following a larger vat bill than expected), I found numerous errors that led to a vat overcharge and a refund of £5,200 from over the last 4 years. We reported them to the CPAA who recommended I be paid for the time it took me to uncover all their errors.

They insisted they had not made the errors I described and said they had checked everything and all was ok. I had to prove everything and stand my ground to get the result I did.

Plenty of stress and time to sort it out. Never received any apology from Dinah or any one else at Jones Accountants.

They acted like it was just in a days work. Check that they are allowing you back the VAT they charge on their own charges to you too as they ommitted to do so for us some months.

Very disappointed. Also given wrong information on claiming the VAT refund on our new van.
