My stepdad has been into Kenyon lodge numerous times and has enjoyed it more and more every time. The staff are caring and attentive and he always leaves with a new favourite (this time it was Kevin). This time around he celebrated his 60th birthday here, they made it extremely special and personal, as a 60th should be. During his birthday weekend he enjoyed using the magic table to listen to music, and although he can’t speak they helped him find his voice again through karaoke with his favourite song. My family won’t be able to thank them enough for giving him this experience and I’m sure he will be back again soon.

My mum spent the last 4 months of her life here. I honestly can say she was well looked after,the staff were attentive to her needs. My mum was comfortable in her surroundings,she engaged with activities especially the animals that visited. The home is spotless and her room always smelt clean and was presented well. Great choice of meals on offer,my mum was quite fussy but they always catered for her needs and encouraged her. Management were on hand for any concerns I had and provided a sympathetic ear and acted appropriately. I can honestly say I would not of let my mam go anywhere else,there is still a picture of her in the lounge which shows empathy to my loss. All in all a great friendly atmosphere that embraces the residents needs which is the most important factor for me.

At Kenyon Lodge the whole staff team work incredibly hard, always putting the residents needs at the forefront of everything they do! focusing on wellbeing and community engagement, day trips and events within the home are increasing giving residents purpose and meaningful opportunities and experiences. Refurbishments are currently underway too making the home more homely and welcoming.

We Recently visited this Care Home as part of an ongoing project we were working on. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

The Home was clean, and there was a very homely atmosphere. All the residents looked extremely well looked after and seemed to be enjoying themselves as they were taking part in activities with the staff.

This care home goes above and beyond for the care of their clients. Nothing is too much to ask and they give the upmost care, time and dedication to each individual that passes through thier doors. The deputy manageress Emma always has the time to say hello or just a small conversation nothing is too much for her. I cannot praise her enough with her kindness and thoughtfulness in all situations. Thank you Kenyon Lodge and Emma.

My parents moved into Kenyon Lodge during the height of the pandemic and lived there for over three years until my father’s death at the end of 2023. It is difficult to sum up in words the peace of mind I had whilst they were there, but I will try to convey in this review, my personal experience. The staff are so caring, conscientious, and polite and always do their upmost for the residents. And because I was permitted to be there above and beyond visiting times due to my unique circumstances, I knew the staff continued with their dedicated work and were always cheerful and professional. In short, when you have a family member in Kenyon Lodge, you become part of the Kenyon Lodge family and together with the management and staff, you create the optimum atmosphere for your loved ones. When my mum passed away at the beginning of 2023, it was as though the staff had lost a member of their own family as they become so close to the residents. My dad continued to live at Kenyon Lodge after my mother’s death and when he passed away, knowing that he was so well cared for, was a great comfort.
