I've only used the secure field once since moving to the area, and wanted to highlight some issues to other dog-reactive dog owners who may be considering booking:

Firstly, the field is amazing and our girl loved it. However there are some things making us nervous about booking again.

The field is a short walk from the car park up a narrow track with hedges down one side and an electric fence down the other. Not an issue as long as there isn't another dog on the track, but if there was (which from reading other reviews has happened to others), this would have been very tricky to restrain a dog-reactive dog in a safe place because there is no space for us to retreat to to allow another dog to pass outside of our dog's threshold.

Our booking was from 10am - 11am on a Sunday morning. I've used fields like this for the past 2 years and they always ask users to leave 10 minutes before the hour to ensure reactive dogs don't pass each other. We left the field at 10.45am to ensure we wouldn't cross paths with the next people and as we started heading back to the car we could see another car was already parked. We hadn't even got our girl secured in the car before the other owner started getting her dog out of hers. We pulled out of the car park at 10.52am, after another car had pulled in and the two people were talking to each other preparing to walk up to the field. Within our booking time. When I contacted the owners of the field to ask if occasions like this were addressed, I received no response.

Speaking to others I know who have used the field, they can recall occasions where other dog owners have had their dogs out of their cars and ready in the car park before previous users have left. Terrible for reactive dogs and their owners, and it's such a shame that the owners of the field don't seem to help in advocating for the users of the field.

So if you're planning to take your dog-reactive dog, just be aware of these things. As I said, the field is lovely, but your visit (which, if you're like me, is supposed to be a chance for you and your dog to have some relaxing outdoor time together without the worry of other dogs) might be upset by the one thing you've paid money to get away from...

Thank you for your awesome set up at the Cotswolds Country Show. Your agility course for "first time try-outs" was brilliant. Everyone was so supportive. The dogs, as always, have an instinct. It's the other end of the lead that struggles! Every success in what you do. Thank you from Taz and Jack.

My dog has been seeing Anthony for a couple of months and is very understanding. All the staff welcome us with smiles and pleasant chit chat. Great area to work with dogs, there are sheep there too, agility, hydrotherapy... The list goes on.
Down a country road, a few pot holes to watch out for, but nice to know its far from a main road.

Dog has been going here since his vaccinations for puppy and now dog day care and is so well balanced and great at socialising with other dogs because of it! All the trainers are so friendly and he has a blast at 'school' (as we call it!) every time he goes! And always comes back tired!

Accompanied a friend taking their Alsatian for hydrotherapy. Very good facilities, staff extremely friendly and professional. Although the purpose of visiting was serious, it was more like a fun morning out where everyone, most of all the dog, has a great time.

We take our dog and cat (yes, really) for rehabilitation hydrotherapy - Claire is wonderful at her job: calm, soothing, good-humoured & endlessly patient. Thoroughly endorse and recommend. Her assistant, Julie, is an asset too - especially when tea is handed straight to me on arrival.

Just worth being extra careful navigating round the craters and potholes on the (council "maintained") lane.
