Excellent, kind, helpful customer service this morning from Denisa at this branch, who picked up an "overflow" call from HO as lines so busy. A rather complicated query to take in then help me sort out involving a lot of information. Denisa knew the system, what to look for to answer my questions. She was brilliant. I have received excellent customer service from Leeds HO, our local branch, and now two other branches that picked up overflow calls in recent weeks. Thank you all so much. Life is tricky in late 70s with the complexities of investing today. It is so good to be able to actually TALK to someone who is sensible, helpful, calls back as promised, knows their stuff about products and systems they work with. Well done.

Cash ISA rate was good initially but LBS has not responded to recent rate rises except by offering fixed rate Cash ISAs. Only a fool would invest for a minimum of 12 months, given the current market conditions. So we have removed many thousands into a/cs. paying 44% more than LBS with instant access. Wake up to market trends and common sense!
