Highly Recommended Stay!

I had a fantastic experience at the Leonardo Hotel London City during my recent work trip from Amsterdam.

Special thanks to the lovely lady on reception the night I arrived—she went above and beyond by moving me from a tourist-heavy area of the hotel to a quieter business section, perfectly suited to the energy and noise level I needed (I’m an incredibly light sleeper). That said, the whole hotel is impressively quiet compared to others I’ve stayed at in the area. The cleaners are quick and efficient and friendly too.

The breakfast team, especially Oscar, was delightful, and the superb breakfast buffet offered a wonderful variety to start the day. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel’s gym is also fantastic—well-equipped with everything needed to keep up your workout routine while traveling.

I also want to mention the beautifully designed lobby, which creates such a welcoming and elegant first impression. While the spa and sauna were closed for works, the pool was open and lovely. This team truly excels, and I’ve already booked to return.

Great job! Great Oasis of calm in the city!

Amazing views of the Tower of London!

Hotel location is perfect, tube at the end of the road, and lots in walking distance. We had an absolutely amazing view of London Bridge and Tower of London room 918
The room was fine, the pillows are rock hard though and I didn’t sleep at all the 1st night and my kids were very restless, asked for softer pillows the next morning which they delivered and they were much better.
Everywhere was clean and the pool was great. Breakfast had a great variety, we ate around 8:30 and it wasn’t too busy but by the time we were leaving there was a queue and it was busy getting food and drinks. All in all we had a great stay and would return.

This hotel is one of the nicest place we have ever been. We were greeted by the concierge and helped us with our belongings as soon as we got out of the car. ||The breakfast was superb. They have a lot of selections. Everyone was so helpful! Our guy Arnel is so pleasant and friendly. Always smiling and friendly. He would even crack a joke and make you smile.

When we first arrived, we got a downstairs room with a terrible view of the A/C right outside the window. After talking to another check-in staff member (much friendlier), we got another room which was smaller but had a much nicer view. Breakfast was quite good, really busy that’s true, but can’t really change that between the holidays and New Year’s. The rest of the staff wasn’t really friendly - the concierge was neither friendly nor helpful. The location truly is the best thing about the whole place itself. I can unfortunately only agree with some other reviews - the hotel is quite out of date, really old furniture, def needs something done. Probably wouldn’t recommend and stay here again for what we got/the price.

the whole stuff is very nice especially Arnel from the breakfast staff. The whole hotel offers a warm and welcome athmosphere. Everybody is ready to help you out. the location of the hotel is excellent and the rooms are okay. The tower bridge and the Tower are directly next to the hotel.

The hotel is in an ideal location for a city trip. The rooms are very large and clean compared to others. The bathrooms are clean but a little dated. The large swimming pool, sauna and spa area are ideal for relaxing after a long day.

Conclusion: very fair price for what is on offer, very spacious, great location

I booked the Leonardo Royal Hotel 3 days before my stay, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is ideal, situated just a short walk from Tower Bridge. The hotel boasts a spacious and elegant lobby, with a beautiful outdoor sitting area that overlooks stunning architectural structures—offering a sense of discreet luxury.

One of the standout features is the large Roman-style swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing morning dip or a relaxing evening unwind. In addition, the wellness facilities include a sauna, steam room, and a beautifully decorated relaxation room with sparkling star-like lights, adding to the tranquil ambiance.

The room itself was exactly what I was looking for—warm, elegant, and spacious, with a large bath and beautiful mirrors that added a touch of sophistication.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel to anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and excellent amenities in London.

I booked for my wife and mother-in-law to use the spa and have two treatments. The staff were great and both enjoyed the treatments. One small piece of feedback would be that neither the steam room, nor the sauna were working on the day of the visit which made the spa area extremely busy. We’d been told in advance of the visit that the steam room was not working but not the sauna.
