Currently been on hold for 49 mins without speaking to anyone, again wishing to cancel my insurance because they’re awkward and make you jump through loops to not have your insurance cancelled! Have tried requesting call backs for multiple days and sat on hold for 20 mins at a time with no luck, waiting it out today to cancel because my 2 week period! Absolutely awful do not recommend!

Lowest price. No direct sales incentives, so no over the phone "harassment" which I appreciate. Portal works well and easy to navigate. Called with some questions and got help no problems, and again no buy now over the phone harassment, breath of fresh air that! No nonsense vibe. Insurance just starting so cannot comment on claim handling.

Absolutely trash insurance company.

Firstly, good luck trying to get through to someone. You'll be there all day.

Secondly, I got an email saying I had missed payments and that my policy would be revoked. I hadn't missed a single payment at the time, that was their way of telling me they'd misquoted me 6 months prior and were now adding £40 onto my monthly bill... thanks.

I then missed a payment following the price hike, as I was missing a portion of income due to illness. I called them to explain I'd be struggling and if there was anyway I could defer that months payment until next.

I was told they couldn't amend the Direct Debit to include both months... right, ok. So you'll amend it when you make a mistake your end and want more money from me, but you wont amend it I ask to defer for 30 days?

Wont be using Lexham again, shockingly bad customer relations. If I could give negative stars, I would. Look elsewhere.

Cheaper insurance than anywhere else however you really do miss out on customer service I’ve been on hold for nearly an hour.

Maybe they should add a queue on their phone line so you know if you should just give up and save some time.

I am beyond frustrated with Lexham Insurance. This has been without a doubt the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I’ve been trying for over a week to cancel my policy and get in touch with someone from the cancellation team, but each time I’ve called, I’ve been put on hold for hours—literally hours! I even took the entire day off work today, January 31st, just to resolve this issue, but still no luck.

To make matters worse, I’ve had a stolen bike on a full comprehensive policy, and not only did I never receive compensation, but the excess fee wasn’t clearly communicated to me. I was also never offered an interim bike while mine was stolen, which just adds to the disappointment. On top of all that, I’m now being charged daily storage fees for a bike that was found and is sitting in the pound. This feels like a complete scam.

I’ve already filed a complaint, but it’s like no one cares. I’ve provided a police report, yet they still won’t cancel my policy from the date of the theft. Instead, I’m being dragged through this nightmare with no resolution in sight. If you’re considering Lexham Insurance, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I cannot stress enough how terrible this experience has been. Worst decision I’ve ever made.

Save yourself the hassle and choose a company that actually cares about its customers.

Once again Lexham has came through for me and supplied a policy I'm overall happy with. Huge shout out to Chloe who set up my policy. She was professional and went the extra mile. Definitely an asset to the company.

DO NOT USE!!!
I used Lexham insurance, and I had my moped stolen after less than 2 months of owning the vehicle. Not only could I not claim a penny back, but after cancelling my policy after the police couldn't do anything about it, I then had to pay £199.16 for the privilege of having my vehicle stolen.
Do not use these thieves at any cost.
