Tried to tax a motorbike this morning at the little moor post office , the bike is classed ask historic so tax and MOT exempt,but you still get a v11 reminder to tax but its free , the less than smiling young woman at the counter queries why is there no MOT ,when i explained it is exempt she replied our system wont process this, but we all no about post office computer systems, in short staff are rude and ill informed, taxed it online in a minute stuff using the post office, they deserve to be replaced

Few people say about closing times. The MAIN post office closes at 5 but the small one to the right of the main counter is open. Common sense is lacking.

This is my local Post Office and I think they do a marvellous job.
Like many there are only 2 service desks but those who work there are very capable and knowledgeable about the services.
Sure if can get busy, particularly on a Monday morning, however what business doesn't. Be patient or give it a few hours before going.

One staff member is painfully slow and inefficient, dithering around. It took over 5 minutes per customer. After 20 minutes, I gave up and drove to another post office.

This is my local post office, and should be quick and convenient, but dubbed it the worlds slowest post office. You often find one member of staff serving with a huge queue building up, only to find someone else doing something behind the scenes who could be helping.

None of the staff look like they want to be there, as shown in their opening times, not even being open 9-5:30 Mon-Fri...

I often put off going there until I really have to as I use it for work.

If I were Martin's I'd be on the case, as it's damaging their reputation having this old fashioned, un-customer focused counter taking up room in their store.

Called in to McColls after 08.30 Thursday 1st December 2022, to use the Post Office, based on what i read online, only to discover it doesn't open til 09:00. The hours posted look like the McColl's store hours. Don't believe the Post Office is open on a Sunday, either.
