Fabulous experience which started with a bookshelf in the Whisky Exchange shop turning out to be a secret access to the basement room, fully kitted out for both blending and distilling. We were 5 going down so plenty of opportunities to chat and ask questions to James, our host, who was absolutely fantastic, taking us through whisky history, whisky making, and the art of blending in just over two hours.

The whisky blending part itself was incredibly fun, with 6 samples, from a North British 16yo grain to a Linkwood and a Benrinnes 13yo, a Dailuaine 12yo sherried, a Caol Ila 8yo, to finally a sherried Islay Blend. We tried them on their own first before starting to create our own bespoke blended whisky.

And when youโ€™re happy with your blend, you get to bottle in, label it and take it home to enjoy!

Fantastic experience that I would recommend if youโ€™re down in London.

planned a day date to get away from family while visiting london and came across this gem! my husband & I did the gin distilling class together. Itโ€™s a perfect hands on activity & you get to take your own gin you made home. jack & james were extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to be around. They made our afternoon incredibly fun and memorable. James has very good recommendation for the rest of our evening around the market. I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for something different to do with friends or with your significant other! this went beyond our expectations.

thanks guys, for an incredible time! ๐Ÿ˜„

We organised a team building event there (15 people), and we had an amazing time. We had the chance to get some knowledge at the same time as trying some exquisite whisky. Then we could all make our personal recipe for an original whisky to our taste. And cherry on top, the staff is extremely nice. Highly recommend for a team or individual event.
