I have been trying to transfer a pension to LPFA since March 2023. Nearly two years now. I never get a response despite being told to wait 15-21 days every time I contact. I literally have no idea where my money is anymore. My previous pension have told me they sent it to LPFA but LPFA have claimed since June that they don't have a receipt. I have escalated to a complaint which I now have to wait a further 3 weeks on, despite being told to wait 15-21 days in November. Genuinely scared for my money at this point and I'm going to have to go to the ombudsman. 4 years of pension savings and I can't get a confirmation on where it even is or how much it is.

I have been chasing my late Fathers Pension Refund and my Mothers Survivor's pension since May 2024. I receive a different excuse every time when I ring and they rarely respond to my emails. My mother’s solicitor has experienced difficulties with them too and said they are a terrible company to deal with. My mother needs her pension to pay her bills and each time they say they will escalate her case but nothing materialises! I have written another letter of complaint to the bereavements manager and if this is not resolved in 10 working days I will be contacting the Pensions Ombudsman. I thought it was just me having a difficult time but it seems I am not alone?

My step father passed away several months ago now and my poor Mum has heard nothing from this company regarding the pension funds that should now be passed to her. Not even a phone call! It’s shameless and now she’s desperately running out of funds. This is despite her trying to contact them dozens of times and no one has got in touch. She is retired and nearly 80.
Utterly heartless!!

Disaster of a company, my mum is 80 and they have been messing her around after she decided to take a lump sum from her pension, almost 10 weeks have passed, she was promised the funds on the 31/7/24 then 31/8/24 guess what still not paid. She is very upset and she has now also has not received her monthly pension payment so is struggling. She has rang 5 times management are to superior to take calls and you just get an agent who can do nothing but say I will pass it on. Come on this is awful service when dealing With the elderly and vulnerable.

I have been chasing my pension refund since December 2023. Horrible service. I call every week to check on the status of my refund and every time I'm either told to wait patiently or then about a month or 2 later that they need me to redo a scanned form with a physical signature This is fine but, it'd be nice instead of redoing a form every month to tell me exact instructions of what is needed... I think this company banks on people not having the time to continue pushing for their refunds.

Have been chasing my pension refund for 3 months now. Each time they tell me a different lie. "You will receive your money in 10 working days", "you will get a payment receipt in 15 working days" or even "we made the transfer and your bank returned the money". Guess what? I contacted my bank services and they told me there was never a transfer that was attempted to my account from them. Scammers, incompetents, useless company.

Something shady about this company. Called to request statement as I have had no statement on my online account since 2021. It took 3 weeks to get a statement from them. Called to get advise about buying an annuity, left messages and somebody only called me back after I started complaining. Also, when you log into your online account, the total value of your pension is not visible like with other providers. Called to ask for the total value of my pension because I want to transfer to another provider and the lady asks "who are you transferring to?". I don't I say, I want to shop around and she says "we have to transfer the pension value quote directly tour new provider". So I ask her if I do not have the right to know the value of my own pension fund and she said yes but it would taken 28 DAYS for me to receive it, this is after already waiting 3 weeks for the Annuity information. Also, when you call (which I have several times) there's always a wait of over 30 minutes before you can even get to speak to someone!!!. They come across as untrustworthy, like they are tying to hide something. As soon as I receive the total fund value of of my pension I am transferring (if I ever receive it that is!!)

Brannagh has gone. Good riddance. It if costs a bit more to get a decent CEO with an effective Chair and board holding them to account, I'm all for it.
