Advertised hours are incorrect on the Post Office website. Staff are barely ever there, feels like they show up when they feel like it. When they are there they are extremely rude, unhelpful, uninterested and miserable. I don’t tend to leave negative reviews but it’s absolutely shocking here, don’t waste your time, go somewhere else.

On multiple occasions, I have visited the post office around 5:15 PM, after finishing work, only to be denied service despite the branch’s official closing time of 5:30 PM.

Most recently, on Friday, June 28th, I arrived at the post office at 5:17 PM intending to buy US dollars. The staff member at the counter was on her phone, and when I asked to purchase US dollars, she informed me that I had to place an order. I then inquired if I could buy a minimum amount directly, to which she also replied negatively. When I asked if I could deposit some money into my account, she stated that she was closed. I pointed out that it was only 5:17 PM and that my understanding was the branch closed at 5:30 PM. She responded that she closes her till at 5:20 PM to complete her paperwork.

Furthermore, when I checked online, I found that the minimum amount for ordering US dollars was £400.00, contradicting the information given by the staff member. It seems the misinformation was given to finish her duties early, which is unacceptable.

The customer service at this branch has consistently been subpar, and being denied service when arriving at 5:15 PM is particularly frustrating. I hope that measures will be taken to address these issues to prevent further inconvenience to customers.

Branch seems to close earlier than advertised (12:30pm on Saturday) was there well before time and found nobody there and counter closed on 04/05/2024.

Update - this post office no longer allows you to tax your car here as said by the manager 09/2024 very strange.

Avoid at all cost. Since they changed it a month they have so many problems. The opening times are a clear lie went there at 9.30am and was told they don't open till 10am when challenged they made excuses

Another review of how miserable and unhelpful the blonde lady is who works there the majority of the time.

Used this post office for a duration, a long time ago and decided not to use it again back then due to atrocious service, selective opening times and poor wait times.

Chanced it for ease on an off day and met with disappointment. I feel like this post office and the main post office in Bexleyheath are battling for worst experience award. Will not even chance it in future.

I guess I'm not the only one that finds the blonde lady with her long nails rude, unprofessional, miserable looking lady. I don't think she even posted my items. When tracking, it doesn't even say its been posted or accepted by royal mail.

After finding it suppose to open till 5:30PM came to this as the nearest one was closed fir some weeks. But they closed 3PM though the local shop is open. This public service should not just operate whenever they feel like!
