Although I live in the area, this was the first time that we took the dog for a walk with ball throwing. They were holding people around although it was a Saturday morning. The grass is clean not muddy and the wood was amazing. You have to realise that this is not a particularly large area but much surprising in its beauty. Don’t get me wrong it’s not Kew Gardens or anything but for a Village Green has to be up there with the best.
Village Fair :
Each year on the second Saturday of June, there is a village fair with Fairground attractions, local stalls such as guides and scouts and PTA stalls a craft tent boat race central exhibition area which are all worth a visit.

A nice little Park with open space and wooded walks, access to the river Thames and a car park. Suitable for push and wheelchairs though some rough bits within the mixed deciduous woodland.

It's a park on a nice selection of the Thames. It's just a shame that scummy people drop their litter around the park when there are bins.

Its a small park to let your dog run. Beautiful river bank if your dog is not tempted to jump in the water.

It is good that the first hours parking is free and it is nice to walk to the river and through the wooded area.
