I was set up with this company by a broker Adrian Flux. 3-4 weeks after purchasing my van it was hit and written off by another driver. This company was no help at all, no loan vehicles, no advice, nothing. As a business I need a vehicle! They say because the vehicle was written off I’m not entitled to a loan vehicle! I wasn’t even in my vehicle when it was hit so no fault on my part. I’m a previous incident with another insurance company I had a hire vehicle within a couple of hours. I won’t bore you with the rest of the details! I tried to call them, I was on hold that long I gave up. I’ve had loss of earnings, no one’s asked me if I want to claim for loss of earnings, I’d just spent £170 on tyres etc a week before it was written off. I paid £6k for a used van, 3 weeks later the insurance company offer £5200. It’s not my fault! You should pay me then claim it all back of the other person’s insurance as you are so don’t try to rip me off. I’ve had to go and buy another van, fortunately I have 2 vans or ride I’d have had to pay for a hire vehicle. My broker Adrian Flux set me up with you, they’ve also lost any further business, been with them around 9 years.

Please don’t insure your car with these.

Currently going through a claim and unfortunately the guy who crashed in with me is also with this useless company.

I got a settlement offer before any repairs or any liability from third not sure how that works but anyway I was told my excess was being waved and I could get my car repaired.

Happy days right? That’s what I’m paying £1200 a year for..... wrong they have now put my car into the garage approved the repairs and now when the invoice has been sent to pay they are refusing to pay up because I haven’t paid my excess!!!

So now unless I cough up £1050 today they keep my car until it’s settled and take back the hire car I have leaving me without a car.

Feel like I’ve had my car stolen from me by my own insurance company

I will be reporting to trading standards as something needs to be done about this company

Absolutely Terrible service.
I had my accident on the 18/08/2021 it is now 07/03/2022 and still no payout got no information about the claim given i have complained twice via email one currently on going with the first one giving me £250 to shut me up say it will be delt with soon for payout.
I have now gone to the Financial ombudsman services to try and resolve this 🤞 don't use markerstudy they won't answer calls rings for 2 hours then cuts off.

Had my motorcycle stolen.
Made a claim, the bike was Recovered by the police and put into impound. Marker take all my details, photographs and everything.
Heard nothing from them, called for the last two weeks spending every day on hold for 2 hours. Sent email after email after email. No response.
Today lost my job I can no longer get to the location.

Avoid this company at all costs. They do not answer the phones, they do not answer emails. Useless.

Update: After all this, I had told them to not pursue the claim as they told me it would be £400 excess and £250 for a new ignition barrel. They then wrote the bike off as CAT N, even though the company were instructed to no longer pursue the claim. Sly and useless company. Avoid if you can.

My vintage car was broken into in November - I was initially asked to ask the garage to provide evidence of the internal damage, to which the garage said we need to start the work so we can take the doors off etc, they did, and they provided imagery and the invoice.

The met police called me in the midst of this to tell me to keep my car off the road due to the many thefts that had taken place.

Makerstudy never once contacted me to tell me what else I needed. The customer services guys I spoke to seemed very nice, but utterly clueless about cars and owning a classic car, and more importantly paying out!!

I am yet to receive any kind of compensation, and it’s a week away from Christmas Day, they have had a month, and I’m £2k down!!

Far from ideal, I will certainly not be re-insuring next year.

Terrible company to deal with. I recently had my van stolen unfortunately, a very clean and well looked after van. After receiving a settlement figure I was absolutely furious of the figure they gave me. I have done nothing but pay these people with my hard earned money over the last 4 years to be slapped in the face with a totally ridiculous figure, truly appalling. Avoid this company at all costs

I made a third party claim in July 2019. I provided Marker Study with photographic, video and independent witness evidence. They are still sitting on it, and it's nearly June 2020. Their customer service is very poor, and their customer relations department are very dismissive and patronising.

Dont get insurance from them at all cost, my car was stolen nearly a year ago and still my claim has not been settled. They will anything and everything to not payout even bend the law. Stay away
