Martin, James, Richard and their team completed a total referbishment of our kitchen and did a fantastic job. Each and every one of the tradesperson's that contributed to the work involved were highly professional and helpful, discussing with us about what needed doing and what we wanted done. Everything was completed in a timely manner with the end result being a perfect kitchen we love. We highly recommend Martin Adams Ltd and will definitely be asking them to do more work for us in the future.

James and Martin did a small rear extension to enlarge a kitchen/dining room. They also fitted a new bathroom, on-suite, utility room and stair banisters.

We were very pleased with the end results. James & Martin responded to some small alterations to the design and suggested more economical solutions to other problems. Always polite and easy to talk to with a ‘can do’ attitude.

At the end of the job we were unable to get our selected landscaper on site so Martin and James helped out at short notice to put up new fencing around the rear garden and lay a new patio for us. We were delighted at how they stepped in.

Jamie and Martin created a beautiful new kitchen, utility room and cloakroom for us by removing a downstairs bathroom and load bearing wall and swapping the kitchen and utility rooms around. Great workmanship and always very tidy.

Martin and James have been our builders and project managers for over 10 years with 3 major projects planned and completed during that time .
The first was a large Kitchen / Orangery extension . They project managed the build from start to finish including all the trades needed, the council inspections and surveyors and the project management which was brilliant. They kept us informed of everything we needed to know during the whole build which made it stress free.
The second project was refurbishing our 3 bathrooms . We decided to do all 3 at the same time which gave James and the team a bigger challenge as the disruption was massive, . Again the guys were very easy to work with and came in on budget.
The most recent project was to create a parking space to fit in with the existing parking barn including drainage and also build a level concrete base for a large bespoke garden shed . Again the workmanship , efficiency and project management were brilliant.

James and his team are first class builders , project managers and problem solvers when things don't go quite according to plan. They have a great work ethic and maintain high standards in everything they do , its a pleasure to work with them .

I had a house fire last year and I was lucky enough to get these builders to do all of the renovations - they were quick, efficient, thorough and well priced. They listened to exactly what I wanted, they gave great suggestions and everything was completed perfectly. Great team, great service.

We moved into our new house last year and had already decided to extend the kitchen. However there were two main construction issues fir the project. Firstly we needed to cut into the existing wooden and very expensive conservatory. Secondly the kitchen walls need piling as they were less than 5 metres from an existing rainwater soak-away.

We invited 3 builders to quote and were impressed immediately with James and his father who had a “its not a problem” attitude.We were also convinced that they knew how they were going to achieve it ! A contrast to the other builders who said they could it but we were not provided on explanation of how.

As all three prices were broadly similar we decided to proceed last November and the construction took about 3 months in total. We are very pleased with the outcome ( see photo) and would recommend them for many reasons eg

> Friendly family business
> Do a lot of the work themselves, so get involved directly
> Turn up when they say they will , not forever off on other jobs
> Knowledgeable and experienced, have been going for years
> Have 3 long term local sub contractors eg Murray the Sparky,
> Allways concerned we were happy with the work they were doing
