πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ» worst investment platform and company I've ever held money with since first investing 14 years ago. Here are some of my issues:

β€’ my application not being processed as I instructed it (apparently I never instructed it, even though I remember specifically inputting the details into their platform)

β€’ which also meant I didn't get my cashback offer (funny, isn't it, that my application via a cashback offer happened to just 'not be entered into the system')

β€’ ISA transfer delayed and nobody taking ownership to get it done

β€’ ISA transfer settling to the wrong portfolio, investing my funds in their managed portfolio

β€’ I never wanted their managed portfolio, but I couldn't open a self investing portfolio without opening their managed portfolio as default

β€’ when I 'added funds', it defaulted to sending it to their managed portfolio, again automatically investing my money in their robot funds - not what I wanted

β€’ raised concerns to customer services - nobody cares

β€’ made a complaint - I'll get a response 'within eight weeks'

β€’ meanwhile my funds remain invested in their managed portfolio, because nobody in their team understands when they make an error they need to back it out same day, and rectify the client's portfolio to how it should have been

β€’ and my last email reinforcing my concerns? nobody even responded.

So, apparently deleting my email from the inbox is their strategy to deal with my dissatisfaction.

I've worked for investment banks and wealth managers for 16 years of my life; I know what it means to look after someone else's money. Moneyfarm fundamentally fail on their obligations as a money manager.

I look forward to the response from their complaints team, but based on my service to date I do not hold out hope for a quality resolution.

Not once have I had to consider approaching the Ombudsman, but on this occasion I fear we will be heading down that route. I just don't see anything in their service that shows a culture of customer satisfaction and resolution.

I wished I'd seen these reviews before transferring to Moneyfarm. I'd have never joined in the first place.

I was with Wealthsimple until they decided to leave the U.K. and transferred my account to Moneyfarm. Since then I am down 5.32%. It doesn’t go up and down either, it stays the same. It’s a joke!! I have an ISA with another investment service and that is making me interest. Honestly, wish I’d just closed it when it was transferred.

From the moment I started investing with Moneyfarm, I have had a fantastic experience. Their customer service is very professional but also human. They have always treated me kindly, every staff member I have ever spoken to have been informative and sweet. They check in every now and again but don't pester and everything they've done makes me feel secure in my investment. Great 1 on 1, good investment and great user friendly websites and apps.

Closed my account within 2 weeks of opening it. I don't know if their customer service are real humans or just badly programmed robots but I'm glad I interacted with them before moving my money to them.

Since having to transfer from another company, my investment hss not improved and down by 1k. It rarely budges from that figure. My other Investment ISA has improved and definitely a far better investment than Money Farm.

If I could put 0 stars I would, I was with WealthSimple until they left the UK and transferred my account to MoneyFarm. After more than a year with them I have never been in profit, every dividend I got was chalked out by their fee, make more dividend, they charge more fees. Every time it looked like I was about to be in profit, they would sell my stock and by different stock putting me back into the red further. Avoid.

Was with them for several years. Poor returns, then they hung onto my money for months while trying to get the funds transferred to another ISA with another bank, losing me interest. Avoid.

Very poor service, and very poor returns. My investment has lost over 7% (plus fees!) this year- with a 14% official inflation rate, it’s been a really bad place to keep savings. They’ve projected something like a growth of around 6% over a 5 year period- useless against inflation.
