I do, do online banking, but there are times when it's necessary to actually go into the
branch. It would be really helpful if the bank was open on a Saturday morning again like it used to be. Before I go to work, they're closed, I finish work and the bank is closed. If they don't want to work on a Saturday, they could offer a later close one evening a week, 7pm would be ideal (for me). Or later once a fortnight or even once a month, I can't be the only customer that would find this option useful.
Come on Natwest, be the best you can be for your customers!

My wife went in 5 working days ago to close two old savings accounts that had £400 in as we had switched banks. The 19 year old male that helped my wife, spent lots of time trying to sell mortgages my wife did not want & advising that anyone over 30 must struggle with Internet banking. My wife pointed out that if you need to close an account that requires identification you can't do that online. After complaining to customer services today it seems that he has not processed the request my wife made or transferred the funds. I'm glad we left 2 years for Nationwide now.

So sad to be giving this branch a two star but unfortunately iv had very few positive visits in the last few years.
Iv been with NatWest for 34 years and my old branch( which was great) closed down.
This branch gives poor customer service unless they are wanting to sell a product, makes you feel a burden because you don't want to internet bank and despite being busy
They have no rush in them
I sense that the staff are not enjoying their jobs , perhaps they are not being looked after? I suspect it's a head office issue.
Sorry to have to give a bad review.

Needed to deposit a small amount of cash and the machines were unable to take cash payments for some reason. The queue for the 2 people working on the desk was not moving so I had to leave without depositing my money.
Very annoying

Susan was absolutely amazing, sorted out my mother’s request really quickly and simply. It turned a very stressful situation around very quickly ( closure of a deceased persons account). I just wish that it was possible to make an appointment. The branch desperately needs more staff but that didn’t affect Susan’s ability and willingness to deal with our needs. Well done Susan keep up the good work.

Diabolical service!
Can’t get through on phone.
Refuse to make appointments so we know what time to work to.
Only one member off staff dealing with queries while several people walk around with clip boards saying you are in a queue.
How pathetic is it when you can’t make an appointment especially considering how awful the parking is in Arnold. I had to cut short my visit to avoid a parking ticket. I don’t bank with NatWest my self after disgusting service in the past, I was only dealing with them due to have to attempt to close an account for a deceased family member. I am now going to have to take more unpaid time off work to again wait in a queue for who knows how long.
I have only given a one star rating because I can’t give a zero.

Don't care about vulnerable customers left with no card or easy access to money whilst being disabled with no money or food... Avoid natwest

There's no empathy

Arrived at the bank and stood in a long queue. I then had my name taken and was told to wait (in total I had to wait 40 minutes) even though other customers who came into the bank after me were served first. I know life isn't fair, but it isn't fair to serve from the back of the queue to the front!!
