App & online banking went down today 5/10/24. I called in Ashton Under lyne branch around 10am & was greeted by the friendliest young man I've experienced in a customer facing role. So helpful & so very pleasant considering that before me, he had dealt with numerous people concerned about no access to their account. This gentleman shown me how to transfer my money from savings a/c to current a/c on the pay in/out machines inside the branch, therefore helping me to access money from my current a/c, ie, crisis over . A huge thank you to that young man . I was stressing as hadn't had access to my a/c due to Natwest tech issue.

I have tried to open an Savings account today to move all my ISA’s into and wanted to call into the Ashton branch. They now have a ridiculous only ask online system that drags on forever, so I tried to call the number, WOW! after 25 mins of trying to get a person to talk to, constantly told to try the online system, I gave up. Called Virgin Money instead and all sorted in minutes!
I will never consider the Nat West again!!

Went to the bank this week, and I was dealing with so much outdated customer service from the staff there. The queue was the length of the building I was third in line waiting to be seen which took half hour, there was only one lady working on the tills for all that time when I asked the manager is there more staff going on the tills she replied no there on there dinner. Which got me thinking the busiest part of the day with everyone banking they decided to have dinner and under staff the place. MISS MANAGED sort it out NatWest . I will not be going back

As a Business customer who's local branch(Droylsden) was closed down last year I can only say my experience at the Ashton branch as poor. Long queues out of the door, shortage of staff at peak times and Staff that at those peak times trying to sell products when the lines are out of the door. 30/40 mins to business bank is not acceptable!
