Had to take a day of work to visit Nat West Bournemouth. Was told 7th in the queue . 1 hr 45 mins later got seen, then another 20 mins to check I.D take down details and process a transaction. This all caused me a lot of stress and wasted so much precious time. Why aren't there any more staff available? Also heard another customer's details (all about a Ukrainian lady's bank card being used by her daughter in the US. )The conversations weren't very private.
I found it difficult to sit for that long so started walking about the bank. Spending 2 hrs 5 mins to deal with 1 transation was unacceptable. It also made me late for something else I had booked, which I was paying for.

I had to call in after being locked out of my banking app. Bit inconvenient but I do appreciate the NatWest security rather than risk the loss of money.
I read reviews about long waits but I looked online to see what the quieter times were. When I arrived I was told that there was an approximate 27 minute wait but I could go for a walk, grab a coffee, do some shopping etc., and they would send me a message.
On my return Mark helped me reset my app and get me back online. He was very pleasant, polite and friendly and it didn't take long at all. He even helped me to get some change without having to queue just by swapping it for some notes from the cashpoint.
Of course I don't like losing the local branches but all in all I found my experience at The Square to be very easy.

I came into NatWest bank in Bournemouth square yesterday to try and sort out a horribly annoying Amazon Prime account issue where I was being double charged each month. I was greeted by a friendly associate named Su who was eager to help me and went above and beyond what I was expecting based on previous experiences at other banks. She added me to the queue after telling me it would be about a 30 minute wait, however, she attended to my issue personally and in the end I left without needing to see anyone in the back offices. Su not only restored my faith in face-to-face customer service but she managed to cancel my Amazon account, something that even the Amazon Prime customer service couldn't seem to do themselves. I am SO GRATEFUL to you Su, thanks again!!

A valuable resource which will no doubt close shortly. Various self-service machines, at least two of which were out of order. I wanted coins and found a friendly gentleman hidden in a corner who actually saw customers face to face. Needless to say there was a queue.

2 hour wait to see somebody! When I eventually went in the office with a lady she said they were closing and did not have time to do everything. 6 pounds parking. She said I would need to come back another day and they do not accept appointments. This is normal apparently. They closed other branches so that is the reason they are so busy there. The worst customer service.

Disgusting service, the arrogance of the staff, unbelievable! Cash withdrawal, had to deal with 4 people, one of which refused to continue to process my transaction while I was on my phone actually referencing information they insisted on having before I could withdraw my own money!!! (David) All this in the name of fraud prevention? Nonsense, David massively overstepped the mark, held to ransom to pander to his sensibilities? Disgusting! Where in the T&C’s does it state a customer can’t reference their phone during a consultation? (Meanwhile, another employee can be overheard requesting a customer login to their app to access information?)

The Staff, including Adam, Paul and Sue, were wonderful, except my problem still hasn't been dealt with almost a year later. I can only assume it's because of the bank they work for. Please have more people, less Ai and stop sending me in circles!
