Poor customer service ? I only wanted to pay in some money at the desk. The girl did not actually speak, took the book, slowly counted the money, and passed the book back without a word.
Clearly, she does not like working there, so she should probably find a new job ?

Fabulous , modern atrium and clear areas for ATM's and seating and plenty of booths offering 'Let's Talk'...... hmmmm maybe not. Greeted by a member of staff who was fairly casually dressed - no issue with this, it may be forward thinking, however he could have been a customer as nothing distinguished him from clientele or colleague. I am an existing customer and have held a bank account with Natwest for over 30 years- all I wanted to do was open a joint account but apparently this is not done 'in branch' , I have to do it myself, guess how? Online!! Scanning and uploading and I am not quite sure of maybe a little condescension I could be 'talked through the process ' as I had a smart phone. Surely opening a bank account is one of the most common requests for a bank to do. I question what is the point of a shiny premises encouraging face to face when there clearly is limited actions that can be done. Shock!! Open a bank account! How ridiculous!
I literally walked 20 yards down the road to another bank and actually sat down with a real live person and followed the simple process of opening an account. Job done. Poor show Natwest.

Very disappointing customer service had to speak to someone in India to make an appointment with a senior personal banker in my local Bath branch. On first meeting I was immediately asked if I wanted to increase my overdraft? I said “no” as my overdraft is currently too expensive and wanted to find a cheaper alternative. Staff found it v difficult to even give me accurate figures to explain my banking charges. They were unable to suggest alternatives so I chose to move to a different account which the personal banker said she could organise for me. A whole 5 working days later the account has not been changed so I’ve made the digital application myself. I have emailed the personal banker to ask a couple of questions (as she said she could help me in the future) and after 3 full working days later she still has not replied! I wonder if anyone at the bank even reads these reviews?

Dreadful officious place, you can only enter the building if you bank with them..the dreadful greedy excessive behaviour of the executives reflected in its mean spirited, ill informed staff....whose stupidity meant effectively that we couldnt pay money into a Nat west account...dreadful...the people who accosted us seem not to understand that the bank was part of RBS...and so how they would perform assisting customers, and giving advice and guidance, lord only knows...doubtless they could sell you insurance..dreadful place

I could not have been better looked after at this Bath branch. I went in with baby, was taken to a booth as needed to feed him. Ching Man Cecilia Lo looked after my 2 requests with ease, speed and a kind heart. She even sent me flowers to ease the new hearing loss I have recently been diagnosed with. Who does that! Never in my life has a bank shown as much concern over my health. 11/10

As a business customer it’s hard to get in and out quickly. There s dedicated change pick up point which is never manned meaning I have to join the queue of pensioners asking for money out. There should be someone manning the queue that can grab change when needed.
Poorly managed sorry.

This is bank that claims on their signs to be a helpful bank. I run a business and need to pay in cash and cheques. How is being open between 10 and 1 helpful?
If it was helpful banking they would open earlier or be open till 2pm to cover the entire lunch hour.
It really irritates me having had to take a morning off work and wait for an hour in a queue, to come across a sign saying "helpful banking".
There's all sorts of businesses doing amazing and incredible things to help during the lockdown. NatWest is not one of them!

It’s a shambles doesn’t seem to be a logical system in place for doing anything in person rather than online which is the sole reason for going to a branch…
