Possibly one of the worst banks for speed of service. Come to this one at least twice a week for business purposes and I spend well over half my time standing in line. Normally about three/four members of staff on and they never seem bothered that people are stood waiting for far to long. I understand talking with customers is part of the job but sometimes they'll just talk about day to day stuff when you could make them aware you have other customers.. When I went in last they let some customers dog run around the whole bank... was just strange. When I go to Barclays bank I'm greeted and normally out the door in five minutes. Definitely some training is needed at NatWest Durham.

Why is the bank only open when people are at work? You can’t go to the bank after work because it’s closed. You can’t go at the weekend, because it’s closed. Incredibly illogical.

Had appointment to close account to be told it had to be done over the phone anyway because it was a weekend. At least they got me straight through to the right person on the phone
