Don't offer any of the in-branch services on a Saturday. Absolutely no use for people with a 9 to 5 job unless you are willing to use your holiday allowance to go to the bank.

What’s the point of being open a Saturday if there’s no counter service , to be able to withdraw money from my savings account. Most people still work 8 to 5 during the week it’s a joke that needs sorting.

Went to NW high St branch only to find that service counters are closed on Saturdays, only the ATM machines were available.
There were about 3/4 staff showing customers how to use the machines, what a waste of resources by not having staff behind counters.

I am returning to the UK after years abroad. I had issues with the online banking app blocking various activities. A meeting was immediately arranged by the front desk staff with a Senior Personal Banker, who went through my total banking needs and reorganised as required. I do not normally write reviews, but one is fully deserved here. A truly excellent experience.

ATM inside locked doors. There was no way to open the doors. Even tried what looked like a magnetic swipe card reader. Door still wouldn't open. Should I have expected that from NW? I wonder how ppl in desperate need of cash can tolerate this. Perhaps it's the norm now!!

Why advertise as 'open on Saturday' when all this means is a couple of staff members loitering near the cash machines. I'm sure most customers are capable of using ATMs unassisted by now (plus, more efficiently if not hindered by the staff's valueless pleasantries), however it would be much more helpful to have a counter or two open. Awarded two stars simply because it was raining outside, and using the indoors ATM was some consolation in light of the overall negative experience.

Farcical experience. It’s as if NatWest have forgotten people work Monday to Friday. Joined the queue on Saturday morning - not clear at all how to join this in the first place . Time ran out before I could see anyone. They only had 2 staff members handling customers. The bank is closed on Sundays. Do not join this bank.
