I wanted to share my recent experiences with NatWest.

When I visited Lloyds, the lady at the reception was extremely helpful. She provided detailed information, including potential bonuses for switching my account, and even scheduled an appointment with an advisor for me.

In contrast, at NatWest, the lady at the reception simply directed me to their website. This left me wondering why she was there and what purpose my visit served.

If you’re happy to wait 25mins in a queue to speak to the one cashier then it’s fine. If not, move banks. Nice enough people in there once you get to the front of the queue but desperately understaffed and very different to the experience on the phone/their excellent app.

The Carfax NatWest has improved recently after the refurbishment. The customer service is good and due to the new machines you will not have to queue for long periods of time. The location is great in the centre of town.

Terrible customer service! I am trying to join the account of my husband and I went there more than a month ago with all the documents needed. I signed and they told me everything was fine. After a month I had NO response from them and nothing was done. I called the bank and they said no documents were sent to finish the process. I wrote an email to the Senior Personal Banker that was the person that was doing the process for me and he answered me that THEY LOST MY DOCUMENTS and I have to go there and do all the procedure AGAIN! Simple! It is an absurd! Who is going to pay for my hours and time and patience that I am loosing having to go to the bank again? No care for the customers at all! Very disappointed!

Unfortauntely I have never had a good experience in this Natwest. Always really long queues and virtually no staff working or at least at the desks and able to help. I always find myself queuing for ages and machines are often not working. I've also had a few very unprofessional staff members serve me here, Natwest really ought to do something about this branch. Thankfully I'm moving so it will no longer be my local one.

An appalling branch, visited twice this week to try and pay a cheque in and both times a hand written paper sign in the window saying they were closed. No reason given. The three times I have been there this year, and actually got in, they failed to help when we had some technical banking issues. A chocolate teapot of a branch!

Have experienced good service on the whole, over many years, but the NAT WEST policy of supporting projects which dirty our environment (gas and oil) has sadly led to my decision to change my bank Nationwide.
