terrible customer service the employees had no clue what they were talking about and had to use google. two different ones gave me different answers then argued about who was right. left unsatisfied with no help what so ever

Shocking. Customers shouldnt be based on the service requested. I was asked to wait because I was requesting a statement. Yet two people were served ahead of me because they requested a cash transaction.

Regardless of what desk, service or staff member is available. If a client asks for a statement to be printed. Its a very basic F-Ing sevice.

A client shouldnt have to wait to have something as simple as this processed. Especially when staff have time to deal with two other people that require a very similar transaction. Especially when you over hear them talking about mini statements and other requests. Since technology has become the flagship for establishments, people are forgetting about human interaction. You make simple tasks ridiculously complicated. Pull your heads out your smelly area and wake up. Stop over complicating simple tasks.

I had to go to Newton Abbot branch to open an account for my mother because HuYuu cannot handle applications by pensioners or elderly people who do not have a smart phone; even if they do, it is an unforgiving process. I took relevant authority and ID. I saw a most pleasant smiling Branch Manager by the name of Kathryn. After taking me to a phone where she gives an authority code to the bank account opening team, it was a smooth process. She was very efficient; apparently the manager at both Torquay and Newton Abbot. I finished off speaking with Dave, who also was very efficient and friendly. I would recommend this branch. I happened also to be the last customer in the Branch on Tuesday and left without my coat. I was down the road a little way before I realised I was getting wet in the rain! I hurtled back at breakneck speed but unfortunately everyone was gone very fast. In the age of automatic money counting machines, gone are the times of cashing up for half an hour or more and making the branch books balance. I contacted Belfast customer services and spoke with another amazingly helpful lady by the name of Patricia from the ‘DCA Group’ and she tried all manner of things to try to contact someone to alert them about my coat. She went way above and beyond in an effort to email, or text but alas that wasn’t going to work out as apparently there is no direct line telephone anymore. Astonished? Of course I am but I cannot take any points away from these people. They got my mother’s difficulties getting her current account open, sorted out in 20 minutes and it was actually a pleasure. That’s not what I can say about HuYuu though. If you are elderly, or don’t have a smart phone, that process is likely to cause you a great deal of frustration. As counter intuitive as it seems to travel to branch to open an account in this day and age, that is the best solution if you are in a similar situation to my mother. Despite HuYuu NatWest is certainly the best of the mainstream banks with branches. I commend all the staff I saw at Courtenay Street on 12 December.

Typical bank really completely unhelpful with customer relations and under staffed .
Maybe they could put some of the billions of profits back into the business rather than paying shareholders/executives extremely large payments. The whole banking system needs to change.
