Nextgen insurance changed to my gadget insurance to Taurus as my gadget provider back in April. Had been a customer with them for years and tried to make my first claim where they stated they needed an independent phone report (which no shop offers unless you travel to an Apple shop miles away) unless it’s for a price greater than the repair itself.

Incredibly unhelpful, awful company that deserves its poor review status. I have made a complaint and will be cancelling my contract.

Amazing customer service, bought a new phone and had to update my policy, replied to my emails within 6 minutes, and really made the transition easy! Great company doubt I’ll be changing my policy any time soon! Cannot stress enough how good the customer service is, you just don’t see that kind of service from insurance providers usually. Amazing. 10/10!

Taken 5 days so far to process a claim .

Their managing company Davies Group are completely disinterested - they request excessive documents and then fail to read them properly. They have asked me for my IMEI number about 5 times despite me sending it on the first day

TERRIBLE COMPANY. I wouldn't use even if it costs 2 quid

*WARNING* Scam insurance company - i purchased annual cover for my mobile phone in a lump sum payment of £70, upon making a claim they advised me they do not cover phones that were purchased "nearly new" as apparently these are classed as refurbished which was not clearly stated in the policy, therefore due to next gen unable to offer me a product that i have paid for i requested a refund to which Next gen replied that their company policy is they "do not issue refunds", so i have now paid £70 to them for no product in return which is classed as fraud. My advice to you is avoid Next gen and opt for a more reputable genuine company

Couldn’t fault Next gen . Been insured with them for 2 years - just had my first claim and they got me a replacement within 2 days as mine was too damaged to fix. Really good service, especially Karen who looked after me. Top marks

Very bad experience i have claimed for my mobile loss and submitted every single documents they asked and waited for two months always they send mail submitted for review its been more than 2 months now. The replay for the mail takes 4 days .

It’s took a long process to sort my phone issue out but they did advise there has been major technical issues on their side and this was the reason for this. Customer services have been really good , polite and quick to respond . Hopefully the technical issues are resolved and other people won’t have the same issue as I did .

Great company who are readily available to support when needed. Going to refer my partner to these guys too for insurance. They're great. People who down vote them most likely had pre existing issues with their phone
