From the start they've been quite unhelpful and uncommunicative, I've had to physically visit the office on multiple occasions just to get a timely response to an issue.
Issues that should be simple enough to resolve, such as a broken washing machine, a leaking seal in the shower, etc, took WAY too long to get sorted.

Finally, upon moving out, they took nearly a month to get back to us about our deposit, and when they did, they had taken quite significant deductions off over quite minimal or nonsensical things. It felt like they made us wait so we would be desperate enough to swallow whatever deductions they threw our way and backed us into a corner.

Ultimately, this experience has really tainted my view of the kind of people who work for lettings agents - their moral compass is swayed towards protecting and pampering those landlords who own several properties, making money of the working population that simply need a place to live.

Holly and others have been so helpful, patient and lovely during this time me and my partner were looking for an apartment. This is my second time renting through Northern Group and every part of the process was smooth and I was kept up to date the whole way through. Chloe and Adam have been great at coming back to any questions I had and loving the new apartment! I had so much trouble finding dog friendly rentals but the Northern Group make it so easy.
