This place is a fantastic spot for dining, whether for a casual weekday lunch or a weekend dinner. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with a great variety to suit all tastes. I visited the bar this week for a drink. The bar is clean and welcoming and the barmaid was friendly.
Very quiet as I visited on a weekday afternoon, was told by staff that it’s very busy on football days.

Excellent courteous and friendly service. Very nice pleasant people working there. The food was very good. Best sticky toffee pudding ever and the lovely steak and ale pie could have fed two people. All at a very reasonable price. Whenever we are in Northampton, that's where we will finish up.

Well what can I say the food was amazing I had steak pie and mash and peas well worth the money but I couldn’t eat all I was full cause you get big portion the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the pub it selfs is big and there’s lots on offer will be returning

me and my friend went here for drinks a while back and honestly it's very demure, very mindful and definitely recommend
also wolverine and Deadpool were on the date..
plus the bartender was lowkey cute

had been here a couple of times with my uni friends, my last experience was the worst. It was my graduation day, i was with my family - there was about 5 of us . An alcoholic drink was ordered to the table but due to me not having my ID on hand the drink was taken away from me, notable mention i was standing in my cap and gown … i can’t possibly be under 18 and they didn’t want to accept a photo of my ID either. when trying to explain that it was my literal graduation, they did not care. definitely ruined the vibe. Now obviously my family were going to order drinks for me so i got them in the end and I'm sure they would have guessed that so there was no need for the theatrics to begin with. definitely leaves a sour memory of my graduation day

I have no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere. BUT the toilets are disgusting. They smell of sewage and have toilets with seats that aren’t fitted. They are filthy with toilet roll everywhere with soaking wet floors. Such a shame that this lets the place down so badly. Absolutely no need for it at all. Plus if you look back at old reviews this has been going on for years so clearly nothing is ever going to be done about it. Unhygienic and vile!
