The service I received was incredibly poor - I won’t be returning. It was disheartening to see the woman in front of me treated with basic kindness and courtesy, only for me to be met with curt, frosty behavior and not worthy of communication or guidance. As a person of color, experiencing microaggressions is unfortunately common, but it’s especially disappointing when it comes from everyday services we rely on.

When I mentioned I needed to make a return, the staff member just glared at me instead of providing instructions (apparently, the glare was meant to signal that I should show my QR code). She continued our interaction with cold silence Despite the treatment, I still ended my interaction with her politely to little avail - nice to know I’m considered sub human.

I had an unpleasant experience at Ottershaw One Stop Post Office on 22nd November 2024. When I requested a signed-for service, the staff member insisted, in a mocking tone, that I must say ‘please’. She repeated this behaviour and said, ‘You should say pleaseeee,’ adding that She like ‘manners.’ This interaction was condescending, unprofessional, and made me feel uncomfortable. Such behavior is unacceptable in a customer service environment. I will also be filing a formal complaint about this incident.

Awful post office. Cannot take parcels more than 10kg?!?!?! But can take two 5 kg parcels?!?! Id understand if 10kg is too heavy to lift! Everytime i try to use this branch there is an issue which i never seem to have at other branches. It is 0.1mile from me but I actively go to a PO further away now to save myself the hassle of dealing with their incompetence

The most appalling service and rude lady at the counter. Complained about the poor service then another lady came and told me to go away, yet I had been calm and polite myself. DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE. Uncomfortable, embarrassing experience and the second time this week that I have had awful dealings with these nightmare people. If they want to run a post office at least respect the customers that drive to them and their shop. AWful, DreadFul people. The worst. AVOID AVOID. Entirely agree with the other poor feedback leaft earlier. I hope others take heed and avoid. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

I use this till in the one stop frequently, and have never had an issue with prepaid returns or shipping larger parcels, even abroad. There isn’t much packaging for sale, but other than that I have been able to do what I need to here and without a big queue as is often the case at post offices.

Extremely rude manager at that post office!! She talks to customers in a very abrupt way,very very unprofessional! she does not take responsibility for their own mistakes! Awful experience!! She should not be a manager. And I saw her throwing the parcels in the bag!

Awful post office. Went before the post office shut last night and they told me I had to come back tomorrow because they had already shut the till?! Then came the next day and went to pay by contactless and it wouldn’t work and staff proceeded to tell me that it was my phone not the card machine... Tried on the regular till and the contactless worked, got told I couldn’t pay so couldn’t post my parcels... one unhappy customer!!!!

We have too few post offices..this little post office is overloaded with demand, which causes staff and customer stress, but I've always found the staff friendly, helpful and willing to sort things out.
