Lovely friendly and efficient staff, a delicious menu, with lots of seafood and fish choices for me and curry's for him. Lovely decor, in the restaurant and bar, clean, fresh and well equipped toilets.

Early evening meal with my wife. Finding the way in was fun. It's on the supermarket side. Warmly welcomed on entry, and taken to our table.

Fairly neutral decor.

We arrived at 6:00pm and the place was half full. Mainly an older crowd, I'm 58 at the time of writing and was on the young side. Couple of big family groups with kids.

Service was good, take a photo of the specials board when you come in...saves you walking about.

Everything happened at a relaxed pace, we never felt hurried or ignored.

The menu is really good. I'm diabetic so avoid carbs, chips, rice etc.

So it was a fish starter and a fish main for me.
My good lady had black pud starter and cheese pie main.

Just lovely food with decent sized portions.
Mains seemed to be around the £18+ side.

Two courses each and two drinks and a coffee came to £80

Great value

It was absolutely rammed to the rafters when we left about 20 past 7.

Went here today for the first time and what a find! Lovely decor. Welcoming staff. Good menu. We had the fish sharing platter and it was delightful. Fresh, well presented and yummy. Will be back.

Absolutely great. Lovely food, brilliant staff. Dog friendly area a big plus, portions were generous and prices reasonable. Overall an amazing choice for a meal out.

Situated opposite the railway Station on a corner. Everything was "nice", the deco, the staff, the food but nothing exceptional. I was disappointed, especially as I ordered a vegetarian mushroom dish which had bacon strips ontop! I had informed the waiter that I was a vegetarian so he should have made a note and informed the chef. They did apologise and offered me a free drink, which I appreciate, but staff need to be more careful.
I was also disappointed with the choice of vegetarian main courses, only 2, the obligated cheese and onion pie or risotto. As I didn't fancy either I had 2 starters. I did ask if they could give me a starter as a main course, a spinach and mushroom pancake, but all they could suggest was order some chips etc. with it. Why couldn't they have put it on a bigger plate and added vegetables and chips or potatoes etc.
My friend has just told me that she left most of her chicken flatbread starter as the meat was pink inside.
They appear old fashioned in approach, they need to get more flexible and offer more choices for vegans and vegetarians.
We also asked for water and was told, very sternly, to get our own from "over there ", which turned out to be a dispenser on a window sill.
I just looked at the menu again and noticed a separate vegan and vegetarian section! Why didn't the waiter mention this when I told him I was vegetarian?

Had a wonderful afternoon with family coming up to Christmas, the restaurant was full everything just went smoothly. Nice ambiance and great food.

Very pleasant in here, nice friendly staff, we were here for breakfast, plenty to choose from on the menu, catered for a gluten free breakfast for me as well with bread for toast and a gf cheesy hash brown! Coffee was good as well, would definitely come back and check out the food for lunch and dinner times, specials board inside showing what looked to be nice and interesting food! Pleasant dining experience all in all.
