They offer banking service, but wouldn’t accept my paper £20 notes. I had to show him that these are still in use. He wanted me to go to the main post office, which I refused. If they advertise they banking services why should I go somewhere else. He wasn’t able to give a reason for not serving me. But after me protesting , he ended up accepting my money and then banned me from the shop. Been banned for using they banking services. Idiotic

Very bad.Literally blackmailing for money. Since I didn't have a lot of money with me, I asked him several times how much a registered letter would cost me, to which I was calmly answered, and in the end it took me double, and since they just took the shipments I refused the order, I had to pay double the price because I have sent such a shipment before and I know how much it costs and it is good that I had some coins in my bag, I collected them only otherwise he told me that he kept my receipt. to have paid him

What a Rude, arrogant person, the moment you touch anything in the shop he is watching you like a hawk as though to say you are about to steal makes me feel really uncomfortable every time i go in (wont be in future), refused to take a parcel as it was too large and said he hasn't got enough space, but decided to take the smaller second parcel i had, the larger parcel was 45cmx35cmx35cm weighing 2.5kg it was clearly well within the guidelines stated on Royal mail website and there is no mention of post office of having any restrictions on what parcels they can or cannot take, acts like he owns Royal mail, when in fact you work for royal mail, cant pick and choose what you will or will not take. Royal mail head office notified of his rude arrogant behaviour towards customers and refusal to send a parcel.

This place needs shutting down. It states open until 1pm just been at 11.45am the place is closed. How has the place even got a liquor licence? Unless your drinking at 9am you cant buy booze from here because it wont be open. The place used to be open until last acceptance for royal mail, now its not even open for the 1st acceptance. Mr Arshad clearly cant be bothered to run the place so he may aswell give it up or let someone who will run it properly run it for him. When the place has been open the guy just stands around chatting instead of serving customers and leaves them waiting for 20 minutes before he even acknowledges you! My advice is to find another post office because this one wont be open when you get there.

Twice I've been in opening hours and it's not open, 2pm and 3pm, states open till 5pm. He's in the shop and just waves at you to go away. Change your opening times so people don't waste their time!! Rude and lazy!

I have to agree with other feedbacks. There is the same man serving every time and he seems uninterested in helping customers. I was told off for putting a light parcel on top of a pack of cans... CANS! Then he happily chatted to the guy in front of me for about 20 mins keeping me waiting needlessly.
I was also quite unimpressed with the stock on every isle and the outdated copier which is quite a few years old and just copies paper to paper. No usb port, no size options, no nothing.. Come on.... its 2020!

As a PO, it serves its basic functions but its needs managing better and just some friendliness (a hello, a smile, a greeting....) and good old fashioned CS where everything isnt a bother to do.

Mr Arshad is a very friendly man who always is helpful and polite.
I have never seen him behave anything other than graciously. He often chats to customers and doesn't rush anyone away.

Short tempered rude owner that works himself at the counter. Very disrespectful towards customers. Shouted at me more than once, I watched him shouted at others as well. He thinks he is more clever than others. Disgrace! Would be nice to see a polite person there instead of him.
