If I could I would give Penny more than 5 stars if I could. As my partner had CCJs and defaults we really didn’t think we would get a mortgage. As although I have an excellent credit rating, my partners credit wasn’t so good due to his past CCJs and defaults.

I first of all looked at specialist mortgage brokers that dealt with bad credit, but they wanted to charge £1000 to £2000 brokers fees and quoted 8% interest. Though this was in May. So we were ready to give up when we found Penny and thought we would send her an email and thankfully we did.

Penny was upfront and honest about whether we would get a mortgage and what interest rates that we could pay. But Penny managed to get us a mortgage with a specialist mortgage provider and a good interest rate, especially compared to what the interest rates are now.

Penny always got back quickly either by email or phone and nothing was ever any trouble and updated us throughout the process. As the mortgage expiry date became closer, Penny made sure that she pushed the solicitors and thankfully we completed on the 8th of September. Having thought we wouldn’t even get a mortgage to moving into our first house together. We now have a home that we can call ours.

If you want a mortgage broker that is efficient, responsive, upfront and honest. Then we would recommend Penny Mortgages.
