Insured my 2023 DL650 without issue. Two months later I traded the bike in against a 2022 Moto Guzzi v85tt and rang performance direct to change the policy over, only to be informed that they don’t have a listing for this motorcycle and could therefore not quote! So after only 2 months I have had to cancel my policy and go with another firm Losing 90%+ of the premium paid. I contacted Performance Direct and they immediately dropped all cancellation fees at their end which meant I was refunded over 70% of the premium. A big thumbs up to a company that listened to my complaint and acted upon it.

The best price I could obtain on the internet for my home insurance very much lower than my currently insured company for the last 2 years who reassured me that my renewal will be the same or better than any new customers. Don’t let that trick you for the automatic renewal. The conditions are stricter than other companies though.

Quick to pick up the phone. Terrible in processing the agreed value form. They ask for the form and email of pictures in one go, no exceptions. However the email server won't allow all the pictures in one, so sent via Dropbox - advised they won't accept. Sent pictures over two emails separately to form. Advised form not received (as sent separately). In addition, the form they supply is a PDF, so uneditable. Quite a clunky process, almost like they don't want to agree value. I await the outcome of the clunky service.

Been a loyal customer to this company for a few years insuring my horse box with them, which unfortunately the engine seized up back in March time, continued to pay insurance for a while as not long after I had a bereavement in the family so it wasn’t at the forefront of my mind, eventually got around to cancelling my policy, to be sent a letter saying I owe £160 - not sure why! Tried to chat to them and they were rude and arrogant,
Wanted a breakdown of the costs, instead they sent me a letter telling me if I don’t pay it will go to a debt collector. Absolutely disgusting company, would never use again or recommend. - performance direct before you reply telling me to fill a form out on your website I already have, and I’ll await your response. Just to state the letter claiming I pay in 7 days has no contact details on it to make payment… such a con!
